By my count -- pilght, correct me if I am wrong -- three NCAA Division I women’s basketball coaches played in a NCAA Final Four, win an Olympic Gold Medal and win a WNBA Championship.

Who are they?

Lindsay Whalen for sure. Not sure on the other 2. Are we talking current coaches? Just head coaches or do assistants count? Kara Lawson has 2/3 but was never an Olympian (she played for team USA at the World Champioships). Tina Thompson likewise never made the Final Four in her time at USC. Neither Dawn Staley or Nikki McCray ever won a WNBA championship.

Whalen, as mentioned

Pretty sure Lawson was on the 2008 Olympic squad, which makes her qualify

Cynthia Cooper is at Texas Southern and accomplished all three

Sheryl Swoopes has done all that and is currently an assistant at Texas Tech if you want to count assistants

Oh, derp. You're right about Lawson. I remembered her being on a World Championship team. I guess with Cooper thay makes 3.

Lawson scored 15 in the gold medal game at the 2008 Olympics and didn't miss a shot, IIRC.

Swoopes is not currently an assistant coach at Texas Tech, though she has accomplished the feat as a former head coach at Loyola-Chicago.

But yes, the current ones are Whalen, Lawson, and Cooper.

And been an NBA asst and top analyst.

She needs an NCAA title as a coach and I think she'll have run the table.

That will likely be the most difficult of all ...

She's better situated for it than Cooper or Whalen. That having been said, only one former WNBA player has coached a team to the F4.
