Guess it wasn't too hard for the authorities to figure our who the 6-5 blond at the protest was. Hope she can get out. Very sad.

Hopefully her story continues to gain traction. It looks like it’s starting to among players. Maybe it will help shine a light on what’s going on in Belarus.

"The 37-year-old athlete, the Russian basketball champion, received 15 days of arrest."
If that is the ultimate sentence, while unjust, at least she would be getting out pretty soon. Often there is no time limit on sentences of this sort in various parts of the world.

It’s just the date until her trial, from what I’ve read. “Trial.” I hope the best for her, she’ll need it.

Article says she played one WNBA season for the Wash Styx , but i could have sworn Ylena also played for the ATL Dream ? Pilight ?

Yes. She played 51 games for Atlanta and only 6 for Washington. She actually also played 4 games for the Charlotte Sting in 2006.
