Yeah this is strange. The only one still fighting is Wilson. Angel is a no show and is getting played by Clark on the other end. McBride is nowhere to be seen..

Damn. Vegas has had one good quarter per game. Shame they couldn't make it a more competitive series.

Congrats to the Storm.

Tbh I'm not sad. Cool

I would like to see a Langhorne (and Tuck?) sighting, as this will probably be Langhorne's last game in the League. (and probably should be Tuck's too)

re McBride. I thought in Plum's year one, McBride was pretty snotty toward her on the floor. Like ignoring her if she (Plum) were open. But by year two Plum won her over and she learned that Plum could actually make her better so I think the two of them starting playing well off each other. This year McBride is back on her own. It will be interesting to see what happens next year.

Yeah, Loyd is more athletic/dynamic, but both of them are totally inconsistent. Seattle just has way more pieces to make up for Loyd when she is stinking it up than Vegas has when McBride stinks.

Loyd has been pretty consistent this season. She just has more ways to score then McBRide and has really improved her defense

If I weren't already an atheist, the fact that Crystal Langhorne has two rings, and Angel McCoughtry has none, would just about do it for me. Most coattail-ridingest multiple-time All-Star ever?

In a win or go home situation the Aces come up with a whopping 59 pts and lose by 33 pts. Who wants to stay in the bubble for game 4? Or nahhhh

Your avatar looks like how I feel about that.

So, are Hammon and McCoughtry the only two players with 10 or more Finals games played, without a championship? They're definitely the two highest scoring: the only two members of the 5,000+ club without a ring.

Well, I mean, I loathe football, and I have a philosophical objection to watching college sports, so I wouldn't mind them running it back. Otherwise, the sports calendar ends for me on Friday, or however many days it takes for the men's Finals to end, and then I've got nothing sports-wise to look forward to, until at least January.

This wouldn't be as bad in a year where I had the fall season of CW superhero shows to look forward to, but I don't get to have that, either.

well, if you look at her points output, she really hasn't been that consistent:
regular season: 14,9,5,17,12,20,20,10,20, 12,11,14,35,3, 9, 12, 13, 25, 15, 23, 10, 30. That's not exactly the model of consistency.

She is definitely a better defender than McBride.
