LV bench finishes with no pts, 4 TO's, and collectively -38.

Bonner dancing behind the three point line with the ball instead of just shooting it over D Rob.

It’s also going to be satisfying to see McCoughtry lose in the finals again. Razz Laughing

LV doesn’t stand a chance against Seattle. Especially with no Hamby coming from the bench.

Yeah, the Hamby situation really sucks for the finals

You know what? I'm going to try this, anyway. It might fall flat, and there's at least a 75 percent chance that none of you will actually get what I'm doing but, what that hell, here goes:

Carolyn Swords came up big defensively in the second half. She is a big reason for this win. I mean that charge she took in addition to the big rebounds, that was big.

Connecticut got dismissed due to their 0-5 start, but I hope most knew that was an anomaly. They had to have time to gel and get January. I think the offensive disappearance of J Thomas and January hurt. Bonner was able to make up for hers some through free throws, but like the thing that hurt Vegas, not having that outside shot as a release valve really clogs things up inside.

Did the Aces even make a field goal in the 4th? I felt like it was just A'ja shooting FTs. Boring way to win a Game 5, but a win is a win.

Connecticut just fell apart at the end. They had their chances. Confused

I think the finals will be meh. Seattle takes it easily, maybe even a sweep.

Good season, Sun! Y’all should be reloaded next year so long as Alyssa Thomas (above anyone else) re-signs.

Yeah, but CON's bench wasn't much better... collectively 5pts, 2rbs, 6 fouls.. Confused

Game 5, probably to be expected. The stars want all the plays..

Seattle hasn't beaten Vegas yet this season

Until about a week ago, neither had Connecticut.

And CT still hasn't made a finals against a team who has won a championship.

I expect the Finals to go about the same way the semis did. Maybe even easier for Vegas because Klop isn't as good a coach as Curt Miller.

Perhaps. On the other hand, Seattle has twice as many quality defenders to throw at A'ja Wilson. And they're not handicapped by Jasmine Thomas.

Her whining and antics aren't as much fun when she's wearing a non-Merc uniform?

Exactly.
(Not that I was ever under any illusions about how annoying she is. Verbally I think she already peaked as a Merc, but floppily it seems like she is still expanding her repertoire)

You’re expecting LV to win a series with a completely healthy Seattle team? If Thomas didn’t go down with her injury, this semifinal likely would’ve been a sweep. So, are you expecting Stewart or Clark to go down and only be able to play with one shoulder too?

Vegas struggled with Seattle both times, with Stewart & Bird not even playing in the second. Hamby was a large reason behind the first win considering she went for 23 & 8, and is another defender to throw at the Seattle posts. Who is that player now in a series?

LV is not winning if Bill can only play 5 people like he did for a majority of this series. Also, who on Vegas is guarding Loyd?

The best bench in the league, all season, is scoreless. I don't know whether that makes the fact that Vegas is "only" down six at the half a good sign, or a bad sign?

Given that Hamby isn't playing and DRob is now a starter, this isn't surprising. The bench scored 4 pts in the last game.

Using J Young at PG is a mistake, IMHO. If DRob needs a breather, put in Allen and let Young play at SG.

Not a fan of Allen, but have been surprised at her total disappearance if she's not injured. J. Young was better earlier in the year but has been atrocious in this series so not sure if it's just the matchup or what. Also it was weird that she was still playing the point when she and DRob were both on the floor together. Is Big Bill just being stubborn? So yeah, when it's not working, why not put Allen out there for a few minutes? And also Cannon is atrocious so maybe try Burdick for a few minutes. Could it be worse? And why in heck did he sign those two anyway. I mean I guess it's a good thing in that there is at least a body to put on the floor...but really, was that the best he could do?
