I was genuinely concerned that Parker had somehow won MVP over Wilson given it was being announced today. Glad that voters got it right.

Congrats AJAAAAAA #FANFAVORITE great individual and most definitely deserving. Now Chasingrats you have a dilemma ? Dilute the MVP with cambage next season or send her to LA like she's always wanted ?

Reeve really deserved it this year. She pulled off a much greater feat with her roster.

Bit surprised Wilson won by so much. Thought a few more of the voters might lean Stewart.

Given how many put Parker third, I can't wait to see how they fudge the All-WNBA second-team center. If those three are all on the first-team, who the hell are they going to claim as a 'center' after them...?

As if we needed more evidence that Angel makes her teammates better, Wilson went from not even being an All WNBA player to landslide MVP winner

I wonder if Stewie regrets not playing that last game? I definitely think that game is what tipped everything in Aja's favor.

Wilson and Stewart are the only players on all 47 ballots

Hines-Allen.

All-League Teams SHOULD be:

First: Vandersloot - Taurasi - Stewart - Wilson - Parker
Second: Diggins-Smith - Bonner - Collier - A. Thomas - Hines-Allen

However, Bonner will probably be shoehorned into the forwards, likely leaving Thomas out of the running in favor of a less-deserving guard like Ogunbowale or Loyd.

Hardly shoe-horning, considering Bonner's played forward all season long. Bonner at guard is significantly more of a fudge than Hines-Allen at center (who I agree is the closest to a center of anyone I had in the remaining frontcourt options).

I guess shoehorned is the wrong word. But my point is that Thomas was a Top 10 player this season and probably wont make the All-League team because of positional voting.

It's unlikely they'll leave out the scoring champ in order to have two players from a losing team.

I don't disagree that angel makes teammates better but...

A'ja was going to have a better season without cambage.

I think they can exist on the same team but you won't see A'ja as MVP or performing the same way... Their games just don't compliment each other to max both.

Congratulations to Wilson! I distinctly remember when she was drafted many people on this board tagged her as being nothing special. Ordinary. That same label was slapped on Hamby also. Look where they are now. Very Happy

+1 no way they leave off Ogunnaballe aka a scoring goddess for 2 players on losing teams as well. Bonner might get the benefit of position, but Arike is 1st team . Sorry DT.

What awards are left that Parker hasn't won? The Perrot, which I'm sure she'll get one day. MIP, which she should have won. Sixth Woman, which she could easily win if she didn't start. Coach of the Year, which will have to wait. That's about it.
