Posting this in Area 51, because I don't really think it belongs anywhere else.

First of all, let me get the necessary disclaimer out of the way: I understand perfectly that these people are entitled to their privacy, and that we, as fans, are not entitled to know anything personal about them, so I will take it as a kindness that anybody who feels the need to remind me of this truism resists the urge to do so. I accept that as fact; I don't need to be told alla dat.

tl;dr: I realize that I don't have the "right" to know, but I'mma ask, anyway:

I was on r/WNBA the other day, and there was a thread that had a video Becky Hammon had posted to her public Instagram page, of her son; IIRC, there was another video further down in her feed, where she made mention of his older brother. This caught me completely by surprise, since I had no idea that Becky had any kids, and I'm reasonably certain that she's never been pregnant (or, at least, has never given birth), so I don't know whether she adopted, or whether her partner was the one who gave birth, or what the deal was?

Is there anyone on rebkell who is willing to give me a non-glib answer to this?

I guess the reason why it raised my antenna was because I was thinking to myself, "Okay, you want to protect your privacy, I respect that. You want to protect the privacy of your spouse? I respect that, too... You want to protect the privacy of your spouse, but you're comfortable being public about your kids?"

I don't know, I guess I feel like that should be the other way around. Mileage varies.
