Should have never signed her, reeve is the worst.
Trade. big Syl already also, let her end her career on a contender.

Never going to happen unless Syl asks for one. After the 2018 season, Reeve offered to trade her to a contender but Syl declined.

It's not like Syl hasn't had championship success -- titles and MVP of finals at Minny.

Not like great player who never was champ. I would bet she wants to retire with the Lynx. Pity Mone couldn't.

Lynx posting on social media that the team was allowed to go to the beach today with permission from Engelbert. Should this have been allowed?

As long as the beach is not crowded and other teams have the same opportunity, I don't think it's a problem.

No, especially not in Florida. I thought no one could leave the Wubble. Things are working so far. What next? More risks, until something happens?

I'm sure it was very controlled, but still, I don't think they should have done this.

Apparently the beach they went to was a private beach.

I mean, there's going to the beach, and then there's spring break style "going to the beach". I've gone to the beach near my lake place numerous times this summer and still stayed safely distanced.

From what I saw of the pictures there was no one not of their bubble within a hundred yards of them. It appears they remained isolated. If that wasn't the case, it's an issue. But I would trust them to be making smart decisions on a team level like that, so I'd bet it was the case.

That would fit with my understanding of the situation as well.

If they did go to a private beach and everyone there has tested negative for COVID-19 then there should not be a problem.

Huff looks the fairly comfortable cut favourite at this point.

After Carleton and McCall's performances yesterday, it's very clear. Just a matter if anyone will actually pick up Huff(Phoenix?).

Technically, doesn't McCall have to be waived since she's a hardship replacement and clear waivers before the Lynx can waive Huff to sign her instead?

Interesting that she was waived so quickly. Sims just arrived and wouldn't be available until next week.

McCall wasn't a hardship exception signing for Minnesota. They claimed her in a regular roster spot, she was only an exception signing for Atlanta. So no, no need for weird machinations.

WNBA rules designed to control the spread of the coronavirus required Sims to quarantine at an off-campus hotel for four nights, being tested every day. As of Thursday she was allowed into the bubble, but will have to spend three more nights quarantined in her room, with daily testing.

There's probably a little gamemanship by the Lynx to make Sims "available" before she's ready so that she can serve her suspension.

Based on the Lynx release even though she's 'active', Sims doesn't get to start serving the suspension until Sunday's game. So I'm not sure they're getting away with much gamesmanship. Gives her a few extra days to settle in though.
