That was the date Leslie became the league's all time leading rebounder |
I'm still unclear because of the early date. At one point, the person who got the first rebound in the first WNBA game would in a sense have been league's all-time leading rebounder, a title which may not have lasted long. At the end of that first game, there may have been someone else with the title. Was that Leslie with 14? And then no one ever passed her total until Catchings in 2016? |

It was Leslie, and she held that honor until Catchings passed her
