Might the Dream be the surprise team of the season? When Williams & Johnson(& Brown) are available, this will be a very deep team. Who'd have though that after collelcting dust on the Storm's bench last season that Dietrick would contribute in her first game with Atlanta.

PG: Carter/Dietrick
SG: CWilliams/Agnew/Jones
SF: Stricklen/Laney
PF: Johnson/Billings
C: EWilliams/Brown/Brewer

Look who's sneaking back into our lives!

https://dream.wnba.com/news/fox-sports-south-and-fox-sports-southeast-to-be-exclusive-regional-broadcaster-of-atlanta-dream-2/

Quote:
FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast will return as the exclusive regional broadcaster of the Atlanta Dream and televise 15 of 22 Dream games during the abbreviated 2020 WNBA season. The networks’ coverage will tip off against the New York Liberty on Friday, July 31, at 7:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Southeast and FOX Sports GO...

Although I do admit going, "Ctrl+F... B-O-B..."

Quote:
The networks will utilize the league’s world feed from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where the WNBA season is taking place. A pool of broadcasters, including play-by-play announcers Leah Secondo, Ron Thulin and Sean Salisbury, and analysts Carolyn Peck, Deb Antonelli and Tiffany Greene, will call the games.

Is that... positivity, that I see shining through... from a Sinclair broadcaster? Awww. Bless his heart! Maybe that's the Byron Allen light-hearted humor side of operations coming through.

Quote:
“The Atlanta-based FOX Sports South and Southeast regional sports networks are pleased to welcome the return of the Atlanta Dream for the 2020 WNBA season,” said FOX Sports South SVP & General Manager Jeff Genthner. “The safety and health protocols that must be followed will make this a most unusual season, but we believe these same conditions will make the 2020 WNBA season a wide-open sprint that can be won by any team.

They played McCall in the first game and not the rookie from Texas Tech. I think McCall must have more value.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas or Phoenix pick her up.

Good to hear Court's back on the small-c court.

Hoping her friends and fam (notably Don Williams, who hasn't been posting as best as I can tell) back home are faring well.

Situated NW of Jacksonville, FL, the Williams' Charlton County for the past week or so has been the #1 county in Georgia, proportion-wise, for "Recent" COVID cases (new cases per 100,000 population, over the past 14 days), as per AJC data.

Kalani Brown is at practice today for the Dream. No word if she'll be dressed for tonight's game.

I just want to know one thing. What Doctor Frankenstein tinkered with Laney and turned her into a super hero? Please give me his address and phone number because I want to have some of that juice! Laughing

It was something like this, except the "suit" is a Dream uniform:

Elizabeth Williams just posted on her Instagram a picture of herself in a Vote Warnock shirt. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDevulWhOaC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Why is this significant? Raphael Warnock is one of the Democratic nominees for the senate seat that is currently held by...Dream co-owner Kelly Loeffler.

This is what she wrote on the post:
“Ordinary people with extraordinary vision can redeem the soul of America by getting in what I call good trouble, necessary trouble. Voting and participating in the democratic process are key. The vote is the most powerful nonviolent change agent you have in a democratic society. You must use it because it is not guaranteed. You can lose it.” - John Lewis

We are @wnba players, but we are also ordinary people with extraordinary vision. We know there are some critical races coming up, especially in a state like Georgia, and our players will fight for elected leaders that have fought for what we believe in. We have seen that @raphaelwarnock wants to stand on the right side of history and fight for justice for everyone. He is the change that Georgia needs to create a better future for everyone. Link in bio to learn more. #WinWithWarnock

Good for her standing up for what she believes in. Plus, Loeffler has her own issues even outside of her remarks on BLM.

It's something every team is doing this week. Williams wasn't the only Dream player wearing the t-shirt.

Which other Dream players are wearing that shirt?

I just saw something on Twitter that it's happening league wide. I also doubt that Loeffler is making hands on personnel decisions either. They best not get rid of her! I love her play.

I mean, Holly's tweet says that Dream players wearing the t-shirts, but that video only appears to be showing Mercury players, and that ESPN article doesn't mention any Dream player other than Williams by name, either.

So, I'll ask again: which other Dream players are wearing the shirt? Or, in case I'm being too cryptic, "pics, or it didn't happen."

Let’s be real. She’s a team owner.

And Instagram is more damning than some grainy Holly Rowe video.

A not The only, plus she's in a tough fight for her Senate seat. Doug Collins, her main GOP opponent, would have a commercial about her being unable to control her employees by the weekend. The optics would be awful if they traded her for it. Also, I think Sienko and Collen would get Mary Brock on their side.
