Who would be in the inaugural class if the WNBA had a Hall of Fame separate from the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame?

I don't expect to get very many (if any) arguments with my picks, but there may be a few additional suggestions you come up with.

Player Inductees

Diana Taurasi...............................Tamika Catchings...........................Katie Douglas

Tanisha Wright...............................Erin Phillips...............................Tamara Moore

Tangela Smith.............................Candice Wiggins..........................Dewanna Bonner

Lindsay Whalen................................Betty Lennox...........................Érika de Souza..............................Marissa Coleman

Lecoe Willingham............................Nicole Powell............................Noelle Quinn............................Plenette Pierson

Franchise Inductees
Phoenix Mercury

Indiana Fever

With all due respect, a "hall of fame" that would even consider the likes of Tanisha Wright, Erin Phillips, Candice Wiggins, Noelle Quinn or Le'Coe Willingham is not one to be taken seriously. What are we even doing here?

Hall of Fame nomination is never an exact science that everyone is going to agree upon.
Different people will always place different weightings on skill, longevity, clutchness, versatility, impact on the sport, statistical milestones, visibility of calves, sportsmanship, team success, off-court contributions, etc.

That's why Nick Van Exel is in his WNBA HOF.

There's one big problem for harryhoops. Candice Wiggins will surely refuse entry into any Hall of Fame where (according to her absurd statistics) 98% of members are lesbians.

I don’t know how many, if any others meet this criteria, but Satch Sanders is in the Naismith Hall of Fame and he was never an NBA all-star. His only individual accolade was being 2nd team All-Defense in 1969. Sanders didn’t even start, but he did get over 25 mpg in 8 of 13 years.

Now that I get what the "joke" is, a glance at archival footage of Mister Sanders suggests that he wouldn't qualify for the OP's "hall of fame."

Also, nitpick, Mister Sanders was inducted into the Hall as a contributor, not a player.
