The Pointer Sisters don't get nearly enough recognition as the legends they are. They could and did sing anything at the top of their game from country to jazz to rock to R&B to gospel to pop. They're a true staple in the music industry.

"salt peanuts" is one of my faves, as is that album, "that’s a plenty." just look at some of the players on that recording: herbie hancock, david grisman, bonnie raitt, paul jackson, bill summers, harry "sweets" edison. singing, scatting and everything in between. shoot.
