Hormonal changes often happen during pregnancy and there is also the issue of getting back into game shape. For most women, this is a minor issue, but for some, it certainly might be a problem. In some women, pregnancy can trigger metabolic changes which might constitute major effects if they are athletes.

Yeah, I guess I was fooled because I got the story from WCCO. Why are they promoting other stations? Confused

I haven't looked it up, but I'm betting at least one of those games against the Dream is the one the Dream blew a 25 point half time lead.

No, it's just Maya Moore scoring 48 points in 2OT when at least 1/3 of the fans, in at least my section, were all cheering for Shoni Schimmel, and the other game is pointless because what good is winning 28 games when you don't win the title? (and it's another game that will remind me how the Lynx once had the WNBA GOAT on their team until Reeve decided she waned Seattle to win more titles than Minnesota.) #OUTRAGE

That seems fair - it evens up all the Dream games I went to where the scores of Maya fans drowned out the dozens of Dream fans.

Why is Maya Moore dispensing marriage advice (!?) and supporting a blatantly homophobic and misogynistic brand of Christianity?

https://twitter.com/MooreMaya/status/1262081197414506497?s=20

Either way, bummer. Shocked

Lynx are in a tough situation if Sims decides she won't play this season. Really only gives them Lexie Brown, Dangerfield & Banham at PG.

PG: Brown/Dangerfield
SG: Zandalasini/SJohnson/Banham
SF: Collier/Christmas-Kelly
PF: Dantas/Shepard/Herbert-Harrigan
C: Fowles/Alexander
SUSP: Sims
Cuts: Carleton, Ogwumike, Harper

You mean the kind that isn't?

Well at least she doesn't have to rake in those sinful lesbian dollars anymore. She can go fleece the Faithful who pray every night for a McMansion and conveniently skip the Sermon on the Mount.

Are you implying Maya Moore is homophobic?

The type of people you surround yourself with speaks of your values and what you stand for.

But homophobia is just a part of it. A bit of research shows that these folks are against wearing leggings in public because leggings are immodest. When her blog on this topic was criticized, Veronica declared she was "under attack from Satan."

Oh, and the dude is a serial plagiarist who has passed off others’ quotes as his own for years. When he got called on it, he explained that "in the past, he believed in something he’d called the “Uncopyright Movement” which held that “all ideas are God’s ideas.”

Oh and he uses pretend people to blurb his own book.

All this stuff is easy to find. But hey, if Maya Moore wants to promote a "serial entrepreneur" (his term for himself) who says his greatest achievement in life was convincing a Latin American model to marry him? Maya is a big girl. She can decide who she hangs out with.

Tomorrow is the day teams have to get down to 12. Without Sims and Zandalasini, I believe the roster is at 13. Lynx better keep Dangerfield and cut Ogwumike.

Where did no Zandalasini come from?
And what says Sims isn't going to be on the active roster from Day 1?

Sims should be listed as suspended for now. I do wonder about Zandalsini as well as Dantas.

PG: Brown/Dangerfield/Harper?
SG: Johnson/Banham/Ogwumike
SF: Collier/Christmas-Kelly
PF: Shepard/Herbert-Harrigan
C: Fowles/Alexander
SUSP: Sims

Hadn’t she stated she wasn’t coming over this year? If not I must be thinking of someone else.

yes, Fagbenle stated she wasn't coming over. Zandalasini re-signed with the Lynx back on Feb. 29.

Lynx waive Harper & Ogwumike. No word on Sims' status.
