Wow. Three deaths I've just heard of.

I enjoyed Fred Willard's body of work. I especially liked that he was the only live actor to appear in Wall-E as the corporate head of Buy & Large.

I wonder if these celebs who are dying lately of the blood disorders were tested for coronavirus? Apparently the virus can cause problems with the blood too.

Ken Osmond, Who Played Leave It to Beaver's Eddie Haskell, Dead at 76

Quote:
“He was an incredibly kind and wonderful father. He had his family gathered around him when he passed,” his son, Eric, said in a statement. “He was loved and will be very missed.”

Osmond originated the role of smart-aleck-next-door Eddie on the CBS sitcom and played him for the show’s entire, six-season run. He later reprised the character in a TV movie (Still the Beaver), a sequel series (The New Leave It to Beaver) and a theatrical film (1997’s Leave It to Beaver), as well as on the short-lived TV shows Parker Lewis Can’t Lose and Hi Honey, I’m Home!

One of the all-time great jazz drummers, Jimmy Cobb. All time great rhythm sections with Paul Chambers on bass. Played on Kind of Blue and with Miles for years. With Wes Montgomery on the Smokin' at the Half Note album.

A beast of a rebounder and pick setter, and perhaps the best outlet passer who ever played the game. He could grab a rebound and throw a full court strike outlet pass while still in the air.

One of the best games I've ever seen as a fan was when Columbia upset Wes Unseld's #2 ranked Louisville team, which also had Butch Beard, in the 1967 Holiday Festival at MSG.
