I'm over the Euro-type names. Louisville Racers would have been better.

NWSL in talks with ownership group to add Los Angeles expansion team. MLS' LA Galaxy could be part owners.

So, if they split into conferences by 2022, we could see:
EAST: SkyBlue, Washington, Orlando, North Carolina, Chicago, Louisville
WEST: Portland, OL Reign, Utah, Houston, Los Angeles, Sacramento

Aside from North Carolina, the East doesn't really stack up to OL Reign, Utah, Portland and an improving Houston.

SO much better than Louisville Proof. Still a Euro name, but it could have been such a crappier name.

Los Angeles announcement coming tomorrow. Team will start in 2022. Cincinnati is also gaining some traction now and Sacramento seems DOA.

We should have 12 by 2022 still, just Cincinnati over Sacramento now.
EAST: SkyBlue, Washington, Orlando, North Carolina, Cincinnati, Louisville
WEST: Portland, OL Reign, Utah, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago

Paired with the LA announcement is word that Sacramento is actually back on the table along with Cincinnati & another "West Coast city". Probably looking like 14 teams by 2023.
EAST: SkyBlue, Washington, Orlando, North Carolina, Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville
WEST: Portland, OL Reign, Utah, Houston, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Jose?

With Candace Parker being one of the founding investors, as mentioned in the LA Sparks 2021 thread.
