A decent pick up for Maryland. You seem to have some strong leadership coming into the program with these two players. Both are threats from the perimeter so long with Mikasell, they can stretch out the defense.

..and now Mikesell is leaving.

If the NCAA allows instant eligibility, she'll step in at a point of need for the Spartans immediately.

A four guard line up? That will certainly be a different look for the Terps!

Terps pick up a new 2020 addition from Moscow (via a Sarasota prep school).

Tai Koslova, a 6'1" Guard signs with Maryland. She's got a full 4 years of eligibility.

Say what you will about Frese. She works that recruiting trail! As fast as they leave, she has someone else coming right through the door Shocked

I don't think they will miss Mikesell for too long. Koslova looks legit

True enough: getting talent has never been her shortfall, but....if 'talent' doesn't stay long enough to form a cohesive team unit, well.... Shocked

a locomotive-like power forward with point guard skills

Shocked lost me with that one. Maybe Brenda is switching her to PF? Laughing

That wasn't in quotes, so it was the author describing Owusu like that, not Frese.Maybe the writer meant to say point forward? I mean she's a guard but maybe he's saying she is a guard in a forwards body to highlight her versatility.

Janai Crooms transfers from Ohio State to Michigan State. Unless she's granted a special dispensation by the NCAA, I believe she has a sit out a year. She will be the sixth new addition to the Spartans, The fourth by way of transfer, and the third from the Big Ten rival.
