I knew Anigwe was athletic, I didn’t know she had these ups!

Glory Johnson Jr , but some here seem to think Gustaffson is the better option Laughing

Those college stats can be enticing, I would know Laughing
But to be fair, they both haven’t shown much their rookie years. Close in minutes, points, rebounds but Megan shot a much better FG%.
So I don’t lean one way or the other, whoever will play better in that 5th post, end of bench role Wink

I saw this clip in a Tweet from at least 3 years ago. Not sure why it's trending now.

Ceiling wise Anigwe has Gustaffson beat ten fold . Yes Gustaffson is a hard worker this everyone knows , but how much better can she possibly get ? Ehhh

I'll say this - If I'm going to war I want Anigwe with me. She will know where to hide.

That makes sense, it looks like a Cal facility.
Too bad, I was hoping she had been putting in work recently.

Whoa... here’s your chance ATL. Get yourself a homegirl.

I recently brought up Davis here. 🤔

Seems to me she is better than Jones. Or Cazorla, though she isn't any kind of PG. I see her as more of 3 than anything.

Wasn't expecting that this soon. Surprised she was waived before Bertsch & Karlie Samuelson.

Jones has a better career FG% and 3P%. She also averages more assists than turnovers, unlike Davis.

basically sets up the Wings as follows with the assumption that Karlie & Bertsch are next to go:

PG: Jefferson/Harris
SG: Ogunbowale/Gray
SF: Sabally/Katie Lou Samuelson/Mabrey
PF: Ndour/Thornton/Alarie
C: Harrison
12th: Gustafson or Anigwe

I'd take Davis on the Storm as a try-out; I've said before that she could thrive on a contender in a far-back rotation spot. Some players really need to be given a specific role that they have the tools to do, and most players shouldn't be expected to have to do different things they never really did before (such as run point). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wonder how different things could've been for her had she not early-declared...

Her 3pt percentage and her length/mobility will get her looks elsewhere, but not particularly surprised they cut her. She didn't look likely to make the team and may well have asked out due to knowing that.

yet I look at other team's rosters and don't think anyone will pick her up. Maybe Phoenix? Connecticut?

She may have to wait until other teams open camp and decide that a few of their rookies are going to be a bust, or that some players don't show up, or someone gets injured.

Or could easily be one of those players that gets given a shot in midseason, after teams start cutting those rookies that everyone is so excited about right now off the end of their benches Wink.

I'm mildly interested but I feel like they will clear waivers and I'll be able to acquire them for pennies on the dollar.
(No offence fellow #WFFL but I don't think this is quite this team's year yet, even though this move is a positive indicator)

There's also the possibility that Davis is done in the W because she's not very good. I don't understand the fascination everyone has for Danielle McCray 2.0.

Only thing they have in common is they both cost Griner money.
