If this years draft is any indication multiple transfer players are not at the top of the food chain unless your blessed with gifts from god in which no one in this class has.

ESPN Top 10 College Players of 2020-2021
1. Rhyne Howard, Kentucky
2. Aari McDonald, Arizona
3. Michaela Onyenwere, UCLA
4. Aliyah Boston, South Carolina (Easy early call for #1 in 2023, unless maybe Belibi starts dunking frequently in games)
5. Ashley Joens, ISU
6. Dana Evans, Louisville
7. NaLyssa Smith, Baylor
8. Evina Westbrook, UConn
9. Elissa Cunane, NC State
10. Kiana Williams, Stanford
Senior
Draft eligible
ESPN must not be feeling Rennia Davis.
If Sabally’s sister is healthy and as good as advertised, she could crack Top 10. Understandably risky call though.
Charli Collier should get a bump in relevance with Holmes gone and Vic Schaefer taking over as coach.

She's got East Coast, West Coast, now South covered. Just lacking the North so maybe she'll get drafted by Minnesota next year so she can cover the compass...before starting overseas.

I mean, I think it's clear Howard will be the #1 pick in 2022 & Boston the #1 pick in 2023.

2022 is the year that WNBA decision makers should prepare for. If no one in this class leaves early every team with a first round pick should get a very good player.

Probably a good thing if there's no 2020 season to decide the draft order. Will lessen the complaints about whatever system they do use, and limit the advantage that a good team could get from a draft pick they wouldn't otherwise have obtained. |

How do people who have been in the game so long still not seem to understand that internationals are automatically in the draft whether they want to be or not?
http://www.fiba.basketball/euroleaguewomen/19-20/news/rising-star-rupert-has-big-ambitions-for-the-future
2021 commitments are probably going to dent her stock a bit, but at least Rupert is expressing interest in playing eventually.
Also, I had been following a lot of Hobart Chargers content back when the NBL1 season was still happening. Their media people were very specific in their prediction of Shyla Heal going between 15 and 20. |

Phoenix already gave up their 2021 second-rounder, which could cause problems with that... |

Shyla Heal takes aim at 2021 WNBA Draft
https://pickandroll.com.au/shyla-heal-takes-aim-at-2021-wnba-draft/
Quote: |
Unlike a growing number of Australian women who are choosing to play in US College, Heal chose to stay in Australia to work on her game. The decision was an easy one for her however, and it is already paying dividends.
“I had a few offers,” shared Heal on the interest she received from US colleges. “But it is 4 years of playing against other kids versus playing against professionals. I’d rather be playing against the best, and this is the WNBA pathway for me.” |
Quote: |
Speaking with a maturity beyond her years, Heal was crystal clear on where her ambition lay; to play in the WNBA and represent the Opals on the world stage. |
Quote: |
With an insatiable hunger to improve and terrific work ethic, when combined with her outstanding ball handling and shot-making ability, there is no doubting her potential. |

possible early entries
finishing 4th year but still have eligibility due to transfer or injury
Westbrook
K. Williams
Espinoza-Hunter
A. Morris
Coombs
Boykins
Are there other?
Also juniors who meet the age requirement
Someone said Charli Collier I think she ends up in the lottery if she takes a step forward under Vic and comes out
Are there any other prominent Juniors who meet the age requirements?

She is actually my target for the new style New York Liberty in the 2021 draft. I’m going to keep an eye on her!
As well as if Kuier and Mack develop a 3pt shot.

So has Cordosa officially stated she will join Syracuse next season ? Ive heard things along the line of she may enter the draft next season and skip college all together . Although i do believe college could benefit her !

She has signed, but I think she would actually have to enroll and participate in classes to make herself unavailable for the upcoming draft. With summer sessions up in the air at a lot of schools, the final decision could be up in the air at the moment.
As I posted on the last page, it would be very interesting to see where she would go in a draft, especially if she were not to play at a high pro level between now and the draft. The league in Brazil could resume at some point after only playing about a month. Spain might be a solid option if they have a full season later in the year. Not to make direct accusations, but it has always seemed like there were people in her camp who would benefit more from her going to college. |

Cardosa is tall, obviously, reasonably athletic, and fast for her size. One major issue: She cannot shoot very well, even close to the basket. It is hard to imagine her being competitive at the WNBA level without a huge improvement in her ability to finish.

Nyara Sabally was born on 2/26/2000, so she won’t be able to declare for the draft until 2022. She should have her degree by then, so my very early guess is she won’t stick around.
2022 looks to be STACKED.

Let's see if Nyara can play an entire season healthy. That might be more of a factor if she plays pro ball anywhere.
