Khiry Robinson, a running back who played in the NFL for a few years with the Saints and the Jets is an alumnus of that college.
It's not a big school, but there is fairly competitive athletics in the MCAC which is Division III of the junior college league.

| She coaches in the same conference as Shannon Nelson (Bolden), former gopher player. Nelson coaches on the womens side though.
