We need to remember that we as people are complex and there are more than to student athletes than the 40 minutes of games that we watch. I've always felt for people that are known for "what could of been". It changes them forever. Remember this moving forward.

That was painful to rewatch.

Here's the game thread of that night. First post related to those shots is njjosh at 10:00 pm. I think that the link will open to the correct page.

I was at the game in Sacramento. Indeed you can see me sitting at courtside. I'm the one in the blue shirt and the way too visible bald spot third from the end on press row. I remember so well thinking that Kayla Petersen's dribble before calling time out might have cost Stanford a chance to win.

Kevin McGuff increasingly sounds like one of the biggest a-holes in coaching. Doesn't connect well with many of his players. Just a trend bubbling up in articles about players leaving his programs (McCoy, the point guard who transferred to Syracuse) and no one at Xavier spoke to her after that game, other than the affable and emotionally intelligent Neighbors?

Lack of leadership by McGuff.

Seemss like a she's doing relatively well now though, so good for her.
