Love M*A*S*H*, Conway had a number of parts I saw him in including the Star Trek role. And Robert Conrad's portrayal of Pasquinel in 'Centennial' is my greatest memory of him.

Sorry to hear about Paula Kelly.

I loved Night Court throughout its run.

I like the idea of this thread. A lot. I’m a little confused about the title though.

I guess the original poster (Richard77) meant to write "In Memoriam".

So you're saying you didn't get the memo.

Very sad news. I'm a devoted M*A*S*H* fan, so it is sad that we've lost yet another member of the cast.

Charles Portis, Feb. 17

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/17/obituaries/charles-portis-dead.html

If you have only seen the film versions of True Grit, I can't recommend Portis' novel enough. I have both read and listed to Sissy Spacek's wonderful reading of the audiobook.

Clive Cussler, Author, Sahara, Raise the Titanic. Feb. 24. (8Cool

https://deadline.com/2020/02/clive-cussler-dead-obituary-novelist-sahara-raise-the-titanic-1202869088/

I had read Raise the Titanic and saw the film afterward. I thought the book was great, but he movie was a disaster due to the fact they changed the book quite a bit including the ending, a trend Hollywood considers a necessity to keep film goers in suspense since they'd read the book and thought they knew what was coming. Lemony Snicket, the Harry Potters... I could go on.

Kathy Griffin says she is 'gutted' as she shares that her mother has died

Quote:
"My Mom, the one and only, Maggie Griffin, passed away today," she wrote. "I am gutted. My best friend. I am shaking. I won't ever be prepared. I'm so grateful you guys got to be part of her life. You knew her. You loved her. She knew it. Oh, and OF COURSE she went on St. Patrick's Day."
