I don’t understand why you think ATL is broke and Chicago has buckets of money. Chicago has bills to pay.

215k v 185k. Not saying they have cap space or that they will pay more. If you want to do the math, let us know.

Some more details on @MISSVOL25's deal: one year, $165k. Again, her versatility means she can be a four, a five in a lineup-of-death setup. Her game plays well with direction of the league. #WNBA

Coach Collen did say she wanted more 3 point shooting right ? Shocked

Don’t call her “3 Ball Glory” for nothing.

meh. At least it is only one year. Dream only room for one more guaranteed deal (assuming Johnson's is.)

BTW - I may be wrong, but I think Johnson is the first Dream player to have children.

She’s not a supermax-level player, so that shouldn’t be a factor.

Not at supermax, I hope. Or maybe I should be hoping for that. I would guess she’d be somewhere around $120K.

Tuck got $115K.

Well, that's unfortunate. The only player on the Dream I still care about is about to lose most of her playing time.

I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. They have to learn to filter some stuff, like the Sims rumor. But to say that this is journalistic integrity? Give me a frickin break.

So Shades, how else do you get information? Through the spirit world?

Of course someone told her -- but she took the time to develop that source and came up with a scoop. Now maybe she's just lucky but generally that kind of stuff comes about after you've developed multiple sources and are able to share information that others may not have. It's a painstaking process that takes time to become productive.

Once they were able to dump Ndour to Dallas, this was only a matter of time.

So well said, Clay. It's never been the focus of my writing, but I've had a few pieces published that involved investigative journalism. The comment by Shades is clueless.

What do I have to do with any of this? I can’t have an opinion on something without someone else getting personal with me? Where did you get that info on Ionescu hating school? That was good stuff. Just kidding, it was irresponsible nonsense. I guess you might call it “creative license”.

She worked with someone on a website. That’s really tough. So painstaking.

ClayK wrote:
The Sims "rumor"? She was right

Just because it may have been right (and that’s yet to be seen), it doesn’t make it any less of a rumor. A rumor is something that isn’t obvious or can’t be proven at the time it is put out.

ClayK wrote:

There you go again. Am I a journalist? Am I being touted as a great journalist because I tweet out clickbait? Stop making this about me.

ClayK wrote:
Doesn't being right count for something?

You wouldn’t know.

ClayK wrote:
Is there anything that doesn't get you pissed off?

You mischaracterize me as being pissed about Galligan. I just disagree that click baiting should be seen as great journalism. Mo Currie is doing the exact same thing and nobody is or will ever accuse her of great journalism.

What pisses me off is you thinking I need to explain myself to you over something as ridiculous as this. You’re one of those people who craves my attention, but instead of getting it by bringing forth great WNBA analysis, this is what you do.

Biggest acquisition for the Sky this off-season. Laughing

The Sky officially won the off-season by acquiring the Face of the Aces/Face of the WNBA without having to trade any picks!

Nobody wants to see a Sloot/Colson backcourt. 8th seed, here we come! Cool

I think this increases the probability of Lindsay Allen going back to Vegas.

I can’t wait to hear the new “LADY SKKKKYYYYYYYYY!” chant.
