Ugh! No thank you. There's only one thing in the world that could get me to stop rooting for McCoughtry, and that's a Storm jersey. #HateHard

Laughing Yeah I highly doubt both that she wants to come here + that we want to have her. We don’t have a hole at SF - haven’t had one really since idk maybe before the Izi Castro Marques days? - but I’d be in favor of McCoughtry starting for us at SG in place of Jewell Loyd. Not bad at all

agree. if she's looking for a ring, she should look hard at this option where their biggest hole is at SF.

Young is a UFA too so she won't be a problem. Maybe she comes back to Atlanta for the 3rd time..... Razz

The bad sign for Dream fans was back when they didn’t core McCoughtry. It was nice of them but stupid.

If McCoughtry was cored, she would’ve been paid the super-max.

What team can you realistically say is willing to pay her that? And if the team is willing to, will she show up?

If this has anything to do with it, maybe it's the Sun. They wear orange uni's sometimes. (Liberty and Mercury also have a little orange in their color scheme.)

That’s just the color they use in the All-Star game.

Las Vegas and Los Angeles have emerged as potential destinations for unrestricted free agent Angel McCoughtry, according to league sources.

Potential destinations? All 12 teams are potential destinations.

There have been plenty of bad signs since the 2019 season ended, so much so that the rebrand & downsizing moves now look great in comparison. Embarassed

And didn't this board all but deduce that LA & Vegas were the main contenders to sign her weeks ago? Laughing

I know this was meant for Shades, but my gut feeling is LA. Evil or Very Mad Hoping for Vegas if I have to pick one of those two.

Deadly as in a deadly-good team? Or in a water-and-oil way that would lead to someone ending up dead? Twisted Evil

I see CRDS was just logged in... maybe that's a hint in & of itself. Wink

The combination of Angel, Wilson & Cambage and 2 pure shooters in Plum and McBride would be insane.

The only negatives would be the drama factor and Wilson maybe getting lost in this. Not getting enough shots

So we think Liz is actually showing up this year? Still a year-to-year proposition at best to me.

Not really seeing LV as a good fit for Angel. I agree that Wilson could get lost in all of this, there’d be stretches in games last season where she’d just disappear in a sense. Not sure adding another player that needs as many touches is as smart as bolstering their bench.

Moving Jackie Young out of the starting rotation does bolster the bench.

However, I agree that Angel's intensity might not mesh well with Cambage's indifferent work ethic.

Think Angel's intensity would mesh well with Parker's work ethic?

Parker is more likely to respond positively than the naturally rebellious Cambage. Plus they have Nneka Ogwumike to mediate. Vegas doesn't have a strong leader like that.
