Indiana is sweeping Purdue. The Boilermakers barely crossed the 50 point threshold at home. IU 66, PU 54.

Maryland scalping Michigan State. I can’t watch. Going off to take a look at the Iowa caucus which I totally dislike.

I got home and MSU had 26 points. MD had 60. In the 3rd quarter. Shocked

I know they have in some other divisions and in NAIA, don't know about D-I.

Is Morgan playing with leftovers from last year's team, or is this an all-new team? They are doing even worse than Hofstra, who are spectacularly bad.

Caught the first half. Rough half for Marquette with 12 turnovers and seemed out of synch on offense. SH deserved credit for playing good D and Lewis went on a scoring binge. Didn't watch the second half -- the Demo debate was on.

I flipped over to the DePaul-St. John's game and it takes a lot for me to stop watching a Marquette game Laughing . Marquette was turnover city and it was painful for this fan to watch. But I have to credit Seton Hall for playing well. I think this will be an ugly road trip for Marquette with a trip to St. John's coming up on Sunday.

So at the end of the Marquette game, they put up a graphic that MU and Seton Hall were in 2nd place in the BE at 8-4. Right away I'm like no they're not - Butler is ahead of them for now at 8-3. DePaul continues to be out in front with Xavier, Providence and Georgetown at the bottom with only 1 conference win each and the teams in 2-7 are still kind of bunched togehter:

DEPAUL 11-1 0.917 21-3 0.875
BUTLER 8-3 0.727 16-6 0.727
MARQUETTE 8-4 0.667 17-6 0.739
SETON HALL 8-4 0.667 15-8 0.652
ST. JOHN'S 7-5 0.583 14-9 0.609
VILLANOVA 7-5 0.583 13-10 0.565
CREIGHTON 6-5 0.545 14-8 0.636
PROVIDENCE 1-10 0.091 10-13 0.435
XAVIER 1-10 0.091 2-20 0.091
GEORGETOWN 1-11 0.083 4-19 0.174

ok what happened to the home team wears white thingie. Flipped over to the Texas at TTU game and granted my tv may not be the best but I could at first not see the difference between tech's dark pink and texas' orange. Finally I realized that some of them looked like a muddy red instead of reddish pink. Sorry, but this just doesn't work for me. I mean, if they want to wear pink at home, it needs to be a light pink.

Louisville loses again, this time to Syracuse, 59-51. The Card O was just awful: 35% FG, 22 TO's and 9 assists.

Where have you gone Shoni Schimmel O?

JMU exacted sweet revenge on Towson for a 1-point loss earlier this season on Towson's court by kicking the hell out of the Tigers at the Convo Center, 81-39. It was never even close. Towson was scoreless for the first five minutes of the game, and the halftime score was 46-19. Five Dukes scored in double figures, including freshmen Kiki Jefferson and Rayne Tucker, who's being prepped as Kayla Cooper-Williams' replacement and also had 3 blocks.

What happens when you join a Matthew Mitchell Kentucky offense of run, run, run and shoot, shoot, shoot with a Mike Neighbors Arkansas offense of transition dribble drives and perimeter shooting??

You have a 2nd half of a game where the score is 65-50. 65-50 in the 2nd half alone!! There are many full games in the SEC with scores below those numbers. In their previous game against South Carolina, Arkansas scored a total of 65 points for the game.

As it was, Arkansas won over Kentucky 103-85...
