Karoline Striplin, 6'3 F out of Geneva County HS in Hartford, AL, is the Lady Vols' first commitment for the 2021 class. Not in ESPN's Top 60, but Kellie has the staff (and the ability) to turn good players into excellent ones.

Oops, missed it. I scanned the list but my old eyes just missed that. Thanks. And that makes it an even better get for Kellie! (I've been following the team she left behind, what a great job they're doing! That was some recruiting....)

So Tennessee is able to steal a top player out of Hartford. I know it is Alabama, not Connecticut, but still....

From the video I've seen, Ducharme looks like she may be serviceable.

She reminds me a little of Stacy Dales.

I'm not a fan of the girlie shoulder shot release. Not sure how she'll handle the speed of Top 5 wcb.

I like her height, shooting accuracy, head for the game, and overall ability w/ the ball.

She's no Molly Hatchet.

To me she is looking like the classic UCONN bench warmer.

Ducharme is, according to reports I've heard, the real deal. She played below the radar in the NEPSAC, a private school league in the Northeast, but I would expect her to be more than a bench warrior for UConn. Maybe not Paige Bueckers, but a contributor ...

I've watched a fair amount of Caroline Ducharme videos. All-makes videos can always be deceiving as to FG% and 3PT%, but she seems to have overall skills that are the real deal. Her shooting form reminds me somewhat of the divine Ann Strother.

LOL!

I will never forget her frantic drive into the lane for a missed 2 down 3 at BC. But her dropping 17 on the Lady Vols in the 2003 title game at least makes up for the rest!

Didn't she drop 17 in the 2004 NC game as well? Remember that double behind the back drive she had against Tennessee in the game where DT made that 3/4 court bomb before half and then hit that 3 to send it into OT?

Iowa picks up their third 2021 commit, Addison O'Grady. She's a 6 foot three post player out of Aurora Colorado and joins AJ Edinger, A 6 foot two forward out of Michiganand Sydney affolter A 6 foot wing out of Illinois. Booter is lining up a front court to complement Caitlyn Clark.

O'Grady's commit might put Iowa on the radar of one of her prep teammates: 6 foot seven Lauren Betts Number one recruit in 2022.

I hadn't seen this one until today, although Raoul posted it last month. Maggie Vick, 6'4 C out of Lakeway Christian Academy, Morristown, TN, committed to Iowa State. I don't know where she is ranked, if at all...she may be under the radar as LCA is a brand new, very sports-oriented school in the town where my daughter lives. However, this was of interest to me because her mom used to be my doctor when I lived there!
