After leading by 20 in the third quarter, #10 Mississippi state survive and LSU rally which brought the Tigers within three points, and win 64 to 60.

Gophers sans their Destiny, had double digit leads into the 4th quarter but couldn't survive a 19-4 run by the visiting #22 Hawkeyes and fell in the final seconds.

Interesting....Iowa has been really tough in their last games, and a depleted MN just about got 'em!

I see Northwestern squeaked by Indiana in OT, and Michigan State just scraped by Ohio State. Tight games in the Big Ten.

South Carolina had had some earlier games this season, where they jumped out to a huge 1st quarter lead, and then hung on for the final 3 qtrs to pull out the win. So I guess it's only fair for them to have a poor 1st qtr. shooting at Missouri tonight, and then click back in for the final 3 qtrs. to win going away 78-45.

The big game is next this coming Monday, at home against Mississippi State. Expect a pretty large attendance turn-out for this one....

The Yotes led 52-11 at half, 72-20 after 3, and finished 80-36 with the bench playing all of the fourth quarter and quite a few minutes in the third. Entering the fourth quarter, no NDSU player had scored more than one basket.

I was working and didn't get to see the game (not that I probably could anyway. Thanks Comcast!)

I noticed ND's lead and then later saw that they lost. My thoughts were "Well, if ND did win, then Coach P definitely should be fired for losing to this year's ND team at home..." Confused

BTW, funny how Art still seems to be MIA...

South Dakota State at #25/21 South Dakota, scheduled for Saturday, has been rescheduled to Sunday at 1 PM Central. This is due to the massive blizzard that Minnesota and South Dakota are experiencing tonight and tomorrow.

Marquette might want to try guarding Kristen Spolyar in the 2nd half - she has 23 of Butler's 29 points as they lead 29-25 at halftime tonight.

Second half looks and feels much smoother on both ends for both teams compared to the first.

A little smoother for Butler unfortunately Sad. They win this one 61-55 and Spolyar leads the way with 30 points. Hopefully Marquette bounces back at Xavier on Sunday.

That was a nice game to watch on a snowy Friday night. I am glad more stations are airing women’s games, “regular” teams rather than just the top teams all the time. That’s how you build support for women’s basketball.

Yeah, just as I hit submit the tide started to switch to Butler. Was rooting for Marquette too. I probably jinxed them.

Marquette had their shots in this one but just didn't get it done.

Looked like this one might go to OT but Southern Illinois scored with a little over 1 second to go to win 70-68 and it was their first win over a ranked opponent since 1991.

Now I flipped over to IUPUI at UW-Green Bay on ESPN+. It's weird to see UWGB with a sub .500 record (8-9) - IUPUI leads 47-32 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

JMU is on a southern swing this weekend and playing without Kayla Cooper-Williams, who's on the bench with a knee injury sustained against Towson. They still managed to beat UNCW in an ugly game, 66-58. Now on to Charleston on Sunday and hoping KCW heals up by next week.

It's a rebuilding decade for the Bison.

Baylor up on WV 22-8 at end of first.

Think I'll find something else to watch.

South Dakota beating NoDakSt by 10000 points is one thing. They're up 24-6 over SoDakSt early on.
