Bibb was nice to leave her on last season after the Cabbage gate.

She does have some Fever history. What I don’t think she has enough of is that “my ish don’t stink” moxie of a head coach.

In other words, Erin Phillips is out, Camille Little is in.

Now that the Cambage ship has sailed, they don't need Phillips

It looks like McCarty-Williams, Harrison, and McGee-Stafford aren’t under contract. They’re all included in the promo.

If you feel strongly about a player coming back, don’t you add her to this short term promo anyway? You know how sensitive Diggins can get.

Honestly I find these to be good points. It's a standalone promo with seven players on it - none of whom are Diggins-Smith. Even if it wasn't for the whole time, she was on the team last year. It's fair game to question something like this.

Continuing my speculation from the Indiana thread on if she wants out and gets traded: Dallas will have to make more trades as a result of it in order to make use out of all their pieces if they don't want to just end up cutting serviceable people. A team that could really use more pieces is Phoenix. Dallas too is in prime condition to trade for a star player like an Angel McCoughtry (assuming Atlanta cores her) - didn't she almost get traded here once upon a time? Anyways I'm very interested to see what Dallas' offseason moves will look like.

Diggins-Smith does not want out of dallas. People seem a bit bored.

I don’t really put “too” much stock in social media, but the fact that Diggins-Smith and the Wings unfollowed each other is interesting..

Diggins left out of the Wings Christmas promotion.

Just because social media promotes a particular player, it doesn’t guarantee that they’ll be on the team next year. But if a prominent player like Diggins isn’t being promoted, it must be by team directive.

Diggins cored. This article that Stever posted in the FA section makes it sound like she’s looking to go elsewhere.
https://highposthoops.com/2020/01/27/tina-charles-sjylar-diggins-smith-among-wnbas-cored-players/

Quote:
Meanwhile, Skylar Diggins-Smith, who would have been an unrestricted free agent, is instead a player who can only be acquired via trade. On Sunday, she spoke about a desire to find the best available destination “me, my husband and my son.” But trying to work out a trade, if she determines that she’d prefer not to play in Dallas, will complicate that.

Glory Johnson is free to sign where she wants.

That idea was good before the WCBB season started and what is known now about current players in the public. Cox is great but I would not be upset if we passed. Seems very unlikely though.
