Rolling Eyes

Since I wrote to him earlier this year (short discussion of it earlier in this thread. He's supposed to represent me in Congress - he doesn't even come close) I've been getting periodic emails from him.

I got this a couple of days ago. I'm supposed to rank them from 1 to 10. Laughing

I'm going to pick one or two and see if I can submit that/those for all 10.

Quote:
As your Representative, it is incredibly important for me to remain in close touch so I can best represent you in Congress. Below is a list of the most pressing issues facing our district and country, and I would appreciate you taking a moment to rank the issues that matter most to you. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and will use your feedback to help me serve you best in Washington.

Rebuilding our Military
Passing the United States - Mexico - Canada Agreement
Defending the Sanctiy of Life
Securing our Borders
Reducing the Federal Budget Deficit
Supporting our Veterns
Fair Pricing for Prescription Drugs
Defending the Second Amendment
Fixing our Infrastructure
Repealing Obamacare

And then I get an "other" box. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy And it doesn't appear to have a character limit!!!!!! Very Happy Laughing Very Happy Laughing Very Happy Laughing

I got this today (it gets sent to my spam filter Laughing for some reason so I don't get it until the next day). I think that I'm going to have to reply to it. Smile If nothing else, he "stole" my style!! Wink This mirrors a letter I wrote him earlier this year.

Quote:
I will cast my vote tonight AGAINST the impeachment of Donald Trump.

I have to tell you, I’m pretty angry. I’m angry with Nancy Pelosi. I’m angry with Adam Schiff. I’m angry with Jerry Nadler. I’m angry they’re putting the country through this. I’m angry they’re attacking the 63 million people who support Donald Trump.

This is a historic day. Never in American history has the House impeached a president along strictly partisan lines. Democrats failed to convince the American people or produce any evidence that the president committed a high crime or misdemeanor. You know why? Because no such high crime or misdemeanor happened. But Speaker Pelosi and her caucus decided to plow ahead anyway, wielding the House of Representatives as a political bludgeon to try to hurt a sitting president ahead of his re-election bid.

A lot of people don’t realize this was actually the 6th set of articles of impeachment drafted against Donald Trump. Democrats introduced their first set back in 2017 just after the president was elected. They’ve been trying to remove the president from office for THREE YEARS. It didn’t work then. It won’t work now.

I look forward to the Senate’s acquittal and Congress getting back to work.

Watch more of my thoughts in this Facebook video.

"Congress getting back to work".

LMAO.

Does he mean McConnell is gonna allow votes on the 100s of bills passed by the House? Don't think so.

Not to mention how McConnell held up Obama's SCOTUS pick. They are both dicks.

You may recall, I also sent him a letter, so I now get his *updates* also. He's a major dork....but it seems to be what most northeastern Hoosiers want, eh?

May the Blue Wave continue over the next year.
