I guess we shouldn't be surprised at the existence of millions of magamorons in the USA.
It still is fascinating. |
FWIW, Jim Jones was a socialist. The reason he gave for the call to mass suicide was to prove their "commitment to refuse capitalism and in support of socialism".

While as I said, there is no smoking gun, the evidence when taken in its totality, paints a clear picture of a president abusing the power of his office for personal gain. And the idea you need a "smoking gun" to impeach a president when one isn't required to send someone to death row, is nonsense. |
Who even NEEDS a 'smoking gun', when the entire situation is riddled with bullets??
Watching some of the local asshats spouting The Demagogue's talking points at his last rally is just one illustration of how contorted the thinking of these Trumpette idiots has become.[See previous select posts here for even less rational illustrations] (another fun fact: in one segment of his Dementia Rantings at the rally, there were 2 African Americans standing behind him. Several minutes later, they were gone. The 'staging' his people go through is a circus of comedies!)
One of the more telling factors in this is how McGahn, Bolton, etc., have been kept from testifying. As with the hidden tax returns, Don the Con keeps 'smoking guns' well under wraps.

Of course, Jim Jones was renown for his clear-headed, insightful thinking....no wait: it was his slimy ability to control people's minds that was his forte. Had HE been around to run for office in 2016....

What is it that he did for personal gain? Nothing. Asking Ukraine to investigate CrowdStrike is not a crime or a misdemeanor or an impeachable offense no matter how hard you want it to be one. He never asked them to investigate the Biden’s. |
You seem to be in denial, but Trump’s not.

What does this video prove? I agree with the President here. China and Ukraine should ABSOLUTELY investigate the Bidens.
There's a difference between saying that they should investigate, and actually asking them to do it in exchange for favors. Which didn't happen. So this video doesn't add anything to the argument that President Trump asked Ukraine to do so. He didn't.
Also, why is it that we have to have this expectation of an impeachment over something that didn't happen, while at the same time protecting the guy who had admitted to having the prosecutor fired for investigating him and his son?

McConnell is a pus-filled dick.

McConnell is simply stating the obvious, something as elementary and inevitable as gravity. On the factual record developed by the House -- if something so slapdash and flimsy can be called a record -- there is zero chance that the Senate will vote to oust Trump. It would take all 47 Democrats and a defection of 20 Republicans, the first of which is unlikely and the second of which is impossible. |

Ukraine Adviser Refutes Gordon Sondland's Testimony
https://time.com/5746417/ukraine-andriy-yermak-impeachment-interview/
Quote: |
Since the start of the public impeachment hearings in Congress last month, Andriy Yermak, a top adviser to the President of Ukraine, has heard his name come up again and again in witness testimony. He took part in many of the events at the center of the impeachment inquiry, and the 300-page report released last week by the inquiry mentions Yermak dozens of times.
But in his first interview about those public hearings, Yermak has questioned the recollections of crucial witnesses in the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump’s alleged abuse of his office for political gain.
“Listen, I want to tell you straight,” Yermak told TIME in the interview on Dec. 4, the first time he has openly discussed his views on the public impeachment hearings. “Of course, now, when I watch these shows on television, my name often comes up, and I see people there whom I recognize, whom I met and know,” he says, referring to the witness testimony. “That is their personal opinion, especially the positions they expressed while under oath. I have my own truth. I know what I know.”
One of the American diplomats who attended that meeting, Gordon Sondland, the U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, testified before the inquiry last month that he pulled Yermak aside after the Warsaw meeting and delivered an important message: U.S. aid to Ukraine would probably not resume until Zelensky’s government announced two investigations that could implicate President Trump’s political rivals.
“I told Mr. Yermak that I believed that the resumption of U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine took some kind of action on the public statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,” Sondland testified.
“Following this meeting, Ambassador Sondland pulled aside President Zelensky’s advisor, Mr. Yermak, to explain that the hold on security assistance was conditioned on the public announcement of the Burisma/Biden and the 2016 election interference investigations,” the report states.
Yermak disputes this. “Gordon and I were never alone together,” he said when TIME asked about the Warsaw meeting. “We bumped into each other in the hallway next to the escalator, as I was walking out.” He recalls that several members of the American and Ukrainian delegations were also nearby, as well as bodyguards and hotel staff, though he was not sure whether any of them heard his brief conversation with Sondland. “And I remember – everything is fine with my memory – we talked about how well the meeting went. That’s all we talked about,” Yermak says.
These comments cast doubt on an important moment in the impeachment inquiry’s reconstruction of events: specifically, the only known point at which an American official directly tells the Ukrainians about the link between U.S. aid and the announcement of specific investigations.
In a statement, Sondland’s lawyer said “Ambassador Sondland stands by his prior testimony and will not comment further.” Yermak said no one from the congressional committees that are overseeing the impeachment inquiry have contacted him to seek his testimony, nor have any other U.S. officials. |
So much for the claim of President Trump witholding aid to Ukraine in exchange for an investigation into Burisma. You key witness is a LIAR.

The U.S. has provided about $1.5 billion in military support to Kiev between 2014 and this past June, according to an updated analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service. And Trump’s temporary cut off of the aid represented a significant setback for the country. |
IF Don the Con and the #LawlesssGOP were really concerned with corruption in the Ukraine (anyone who believes so is stump dumb), why was aid to be withheld only in 2019? Why not 2018/2017, when the #LawlessGOP controlled both Congressional chambers?

Article II of the impeachment scandal is officially KAPUT:
https://www.scotusblog.com/2019/12/justices-to-take-up-battle-over-trump-financial-documents/
Quote: |
This afternoon the Supreme Court announced that it would wade into the fray over access to President Donald Trump’s financial records. The justices agreed to review three separate lower-court decisions that ruled against the president: Two of those decisions upheld subpoenas that would force the president’s accounting firm and lenders to turn over financial records that they have in their possession, while a third ordered the president’s accounting firm to provide prosecutors in New York City with his financial records, including his tax returns. |
In other words, the House will now have to defy the Supreme Court to impeach based on Article II.

With that psychotic signature at the end. It literally looks like a Klan rally.
Why don’t he just lay down and let Jesus take the wheel and drive his ass south like he need to be?
