Interesting To see TyMartin listed. Is that a sign that she's going to play was West Virginia this year.
Both West Virginia and Oklahoma State hit the JUCo market with a frenzy.

If Mike Carey lets her play after all this, it kind of diminishes any respect I had for him. She's been nothing but trouble for him. But....maybe she's in counseling. *shrug*

Mike and, to an even greater degree, Sherri at OK have seen a real decline in Good Recruits. Tynice is an awesome player, and I can see why he'd want to cultivate her for maximum mutual benefit. I hope it plays out well for all concerned.

Baylor #1 ranked and undefeated in D1 Volleyball. Texas might be the only team who can beat them before post-season starts.
Undefeated in football 6-0 but they travel to OK State this weekend where Baylor tends to get their asses kicked. OU and Texas await their turn too.
West Virginia:
Mike Carey not gonna cut Tynice Martin loose? He might be waiting for a "Ray Rice" video which ain't gonna happen.
Texas:
Not familiar with Celeste Taylor so I checked out a few videos. I'm sold on the freshman -- not flashy but solid performer.

Schneiders buns probably warming up at Kansas.
Mittie just signed an extension at KSU rewarding mediocrity
Stollings should be still be filling out her run and fun offense at Tech.
Oh Sherri....oh oh ohhhhh. Hold on, hold on.

Celeste Taylor can be a beast on defense, but her high school team underperformed, which might be a sign of something, or might not.

It’s a good year to be a Big 12 fan if you like to watch games online. Looks like ESPN+ will cover most of the OOC games, and a smattering of the conference games.

I'm interested in following Natasha Mack, the JUCO recruited into OK state. She was a second team all-American and lead the JUCO division one in blocked shots and was second in total points scored nationwide. She could be a dominant low post presence outside of Baylor in the conference and could team up well with Vivian Gray on the perimeter.

Division II Gorillas of Pitt State dropped Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse 90-82.
Do we have a coaches Hotseat thread or 2019?

Another Kansas Division II team, Emporia State, played at OK State and lost to the Cowgirls, 87-76.
OK State started a tall line-up going 6-1, 6-3, 6-4, and 6-5 around their 5'5 point guard. Vivian Gray had 20 points and 10 rebounds from the wing position in 32 minutes of play. Natasha Mack, the 6-4 F had 10 points and 12 rebounds in 20 minutes of action.

Shades has mentioned already mentioned this, but here is a link for Big 12 Now.
For cord-cutting followers of Big 12 ball, if your streaming subscription doesn't include ESPN Plus, an extra $5/month might be worth looking into. "Selected" Big 12 games will be streamed. Most of the stuff that ESPN Plus covers may not be of interest but even a couple WBB games a month may be worth while.

Earlier this spring, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN agreed to significantly expand their existing rights agreement, which runs through 2024-25. Under the expanded agreement, hundreds of additional Big 12 sports events annually will be distributed on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+ digital platform. |

After committing 31 turnovers and losing to Western Kentucky tonight, Oklahoma falls to 4-4.
The Sooners also dropped games to Houston, Wichita State and Missouri State.

Ouch. Oklahoma has lost to two teams from the American? What has happened to Sherri and the Sooners?

Oklahoma finished 8-22 last season. They aren’t looking much better so far.

Could Sherri be feeling her chair beginning to heat up?

Crazy to think that we could legitimately see Duke, Oklahoma, and Purdue all firing their coaches this year. How the mighty have fallen.

Crazy thing is, Sherri has always been LOVED down there. She's always enjoyed the adoration of her fans, and she HAS been very successful where she now is, unlike the case of Duke or Purdue. I'd say it's more akin to Jodi Conradt's diminishing star at Texas: once successful, always loved, but just 'losing it'.
