The Bucknell website now has the Howard box score

Yep, I got it off Hosted today. Good thing since Jones was really bad today.

Myrtle, I'm starting to feel sorry for you. Ciara Duffy could have had a big game today but it was such a blowout that she only scored 15. Meanwhile Maryland scores 92 against Belmont, but Taylor Mikesil takes a goose egg. I am certain brighter days are ahead, but ouch..

yikes for Coyote. Alarie is not playing today.
If you have a bench player who plays later today or tomorrow? It's the problem with having someone on Sunday/Monday!

I'm thinking we should all post an alternate player/game every week so if one of your players is a DNP, then we would count the alternate.

I got news on Summer Hemphill that she should be back before the end of the year. If Lauren Cox comes back as well it will be much easier to make a line up

Yeah, I noticed. Unfortunately, the only other players I have playing was Chloe Wannink of Wofford who just finished up her game or Kamiah Smalls of James Madison.

The good news, is regardless of who you plug in, it doesn’t look like it changes the result as neither player had 5 or more turnovers and Cal doesn’t lose any categories that he is currently winning due to his dominating shooting performance combined with my paltry blocking ability continuing. Despite such a dominant performance, it looks like I win by commanding Rebounds, Assists, Turnovers, Points, Free-Throws and Steals.

I think we missed one shot too many and one FT too many or we actually could have won this week Crying or Very sad

Well, time to cut some losses and move on:
we will waive Lexi Hull, Stanford who may have one game in five as a great one, if only we could predict it... and also let Jade Johnson, SFC go who we thought was going to be as good this year as last. Alas, not so.

On to new faces.
we will sign
Theresa Onwuka, g, Buffalo and
Azhiana Basallo, g, San Jose state

More changes to come I'm afraid.

So as a safety net, I would suggest everyone post an 'alternate' for each week. Post their date and game just on a separate line from the ones you're actually playing and clearly call it your alternate. If one of your regular roster players fail to show up, you will get the stats from the alternate. Otherwise the alternate will not count. That's the fairest way I can think to make it. Any objections?

It's amazing how you can go from being unbeaten like Lynx to being thumped by Matt 8.5-1.5. Incredible. It's a marvel that Lynx and I both lead the League with a +/- of -1, meanwhile Calbear has 2 losses with a +/- of +7.

What's also revealing is that Lynx and I have played the exact same schedule so far, with Lynx winning H2H, but stumbling against Matt while it took me a pretty darn incredible week to snatch the win against Matt. I wish there was an easy way to set up an RPI or SOS rating index. Laughing

There is definitely a lot of luck involved in this game, which makes it pretty crazy. One really bad game and it may doom you. One really good game and it might be enough to win it. I think it's because the sample size is so small. If you are playing 30 games/week it helps to even out the aberrations.

This looks like it's going to be a tough week for me but we'll see

I think it will be tough for me as well. Being without my #1 pick and having multiple injuries I continue struggling to make a lineup. I saw Courtney Woods last week in Las Vegas and I was impressed, even though the team didn't play well.

It's interesting to look back at the draft. Myrtle, your first two picks really haven't lived up to expectations in Dee Givens or Jade Johnson (who's now been booted). I almost picked Johnson, so her downfall is somewhat surprising, but like Gia Pack out of NMSU it's hard to predict.

If you had to look at just the first two picks it's easy to see why some are doing better than others. For example, Lynx has a monster in McDonald, but Dangerfield isn't exactly tearing it up. Poor me, the #2 overall pick has been injured for some time. Mompremier and Ogwumike haven't exactly been tearing it up for Tbinta.
