Trying to put together a lineup for this week. Injuries and players without games severely limit my options:

Lauren Cox - Doubtful for this week
Summer Hemphill - Yet to play this season with leg injury
Uju Ezeudu - Only game vs Division II Christian Bros
Anisha George - Only game vs Division II Xavier La
(This was my fault - in a rush to get a full lineup I added her as my center but didn't realize she didn't have a game this week)

Therefore I will add:

Mallory McGwire C Boise St

and drop:

Anisha George.

Hopefully Lauren Cox will play soon and be 100%

11/21: Mary Gadeka F Villanova (vs Manhattan) BEast
11/22: Michaela Onyenwere F UCLA (vs N Colorado) Pac12
11/20: Taylor Robertson G Oklahoma (vs SF Austin) Big12

11/19: Megan Walker U UConn (vs Virginia) AAC

I didn't notice a lineup for my opponent, Lynxmania. If I understand the rules correctly that means she uses last week's lineup with the first game for each player. That would make the lineup:

11/19: Crystal Dangerfield G UConn (vs Virginia) AAC
11/19: Vivian Gray F Oklahoma St (vs Idaho St) Big12
11/19: Jordan Sanders U UC Irvine (vs Loyola MM) Big West
11/20: Kaila Charles U Maryland (vs George Washington) Big10
11/20: Joyner Holmes F Texas (vs UTGRV) Big12
11/20: Aari McDonald G Arizona (vs Prairie View) Pac12
11/20: Braydey Hodgins U Boise St (vs Washington St) MWC
11/21: Kayla Cooper-Williams C James Madison (vs Georgetown) CAA

I assume Lynx can make changes for anyone that hasn't yet played. But the way things are now we will have an early decision, and to make things even more interesting we both have players from UConn and Boise St.

I believe theoretically she could still put in a lineup that didn't include the three players today, since a lineup is not required until before the first player in her lineup plays. However, after tomorrow it would be too late to do that since she wouldn't have 8 players who hadn't yet played...and therefore the lineup you propose would stand as is. Thanks for posting this...I was dreading trying to figure it out.

Myrtle,

I realize how much work you are doing for this game so I went ahead and mapped out Coyotes lineup:

11/20: Gia Pack G New Mexico St (vs Pepperdine) WAC
11/20: Chloe Wanank G Wofford (vs Longwood) SOU
11/20: Bella Alarie U Princeton (vs Iowa) IVY
11/21: K Smalls U James Madison (vs Georgetown) COL
11/22: J Bailey C North Carolina (vs Elon) ACC
11/22: S Johnson U Rider (vs Lipscomb) MAAC
11/24: Sara Rhine F Drake (vs W Illinois) MVC
NONE: M Nelson U Denver - No Div 1 games

One other point. I think you should reconsider allowing participants to put in a lineup after a player (that would be in the lineup if none were submitted) has played a game. That would allow for someone to make a decision after they know whether that player had a good game. I think that once a player has played a game their status (in or out of the lineup for that game) should be locked.

Thanks,
Yeah you're probably right we should lock lineups after the first player who would theoretically play plays. I would hope that for our silly game people wouldn't bother to try to game it...but have seen in the past that some people actually will.

So for future weeks, we will institute that rule.
Also for Coyote, since he has a player with no games, I will take the next player on his roster who wasn't played - in this case Pivec. Alarie can be his second F.

Thanks for posting, a friend in town and projects at work are now killing me, I was just coming to say Alaire and Pack for tonight. So, that lineup works.

Sorry about not posting. Thought I would get to it yesterday but sleep called my name first.

I'm cool with whatever lineup calbearman created for me.

11/19: Crystal Dangerfield G UConn (vs Virginia) AAC
11/19: Vivian Gray F Oklahoma St (vs Idaho St) Big12
11/19: Jordan Sanders U UC Irvine (vs Loyola MM) Big West
11/20: Kaila Charles U Maryland (vs George Washington) Big10
11/20: Joyner Holmes F Texas (vs UTGRV) Big12
11/20: Aari McDonald G Arizona (vs Prairie View) Pac12
11/20: Braydey Hodgins U Boise St (vs Washington St) MWC
11/21: Kayla Cooper-Williams C James Madison (vs Georgetown) CAA

so this is good for me.

Had my first DNP with Erica Haynes-Overton-Etsu versus Radford. Is there a remedy for this or do i simply take the goose egg?

Sorry for the delay. I’ll play Sydney Holloway, the player I was trying to drop. She has a game on 11/24 with Illinois

You can replace her with someone who hasn't played yet this week.

I think she's yours. What position does she play and what team?

One more request:
If you go back to add a player because of a DNP or make any other changes, please just quote your original post and make the change in the quoted part of the new post. That way, it's clear to everyone when you made what change and that the change you made is 'legal'.

In addition to making it legal, it means that I catch any changes when I'm posting results. FYI: What I usually do is copy your lineups into an excel file on Monday night or as soon thereafter as they are posted....so if you make changes without notifying me after that, it gets confusing and I could easily miss a perfectly legal move you made.

our team is desperately in need of some kind of change so we will

waive Maddi Utti, Fresno and
sign Rachel Thompson, G, Colgate (Patriot)

and also
waive Minyon Moore, Oregon and
sign Katarina Zec, GF, UTEP (CUSA)

...and we are willing to consider any trade offers for any of our other players. Anybody we have that you would love to have? and be willing to pay an appropriate price of course.

straggling into week 4 with tails between legs:

11/26: Jade Johnson, G, SFC: v. NJIT - NE
11/26: Kelly Campbell, G, Depaul: v Milwaukee, - BE
11/27: Ellie Mack, F, Bucknell: v. Howard - Patriot
11/29: Kristin Scott, C, ISU: v. Pine Bluff 29 – BiG
11/29: Katarina Zec, F, UTEP: v W. Michigan – CUSA
11/30: Taylor Mikesell, U, Mary: v Belmont – BiG
11/30: Ciarra Duffey, U, SDak: v. NIU - Summit
12/1: Rachel Thompson, U, Colgate: v Niagra– Patriot

can't play my #1 player since she was obviously sick today...so she'll probably have a monster game that we miss.
