Hail, Spalding, Full of Grace, the Lord is with Thee, blessed art thou amongst basketballs, and blessed is the fruit of thy bucket, Spalding. Holy Spalding, Divinity of Basketball, intercede on this drafters behalf, now and at the hour of our choice.

Spalding have mercy.

Have I groveled enough?

I’d prefer to wait for Hoopsmom, but also know we need to get moving. I’d say give her until tomorrow morning at the very latest.

#2 is not at all as clear in my mind.

I agree. I can"t imagine anyone passing up on Iimar'i Thomas. School and position withheld.

advice to Hoopmom: pay no attention to calbearman! Though this may be his secret round 10 pick...

With the second pick of the 2019 Draft, a tipsy Coyote goes out on a limb and selects Bella Alaire, Princeton, Ivy.

I’m not sure about this one.

She's a great pick. The only problem with her is that she doesn't play three weeks in January. Always a problem with the Ivies. But definitely one of my top choices too.

Just to clarify, Lynx is up.

Yeah, I do have to say the format of picking one game a week might significantly hurt some players this season but I haven’t seen how that will bear out.

Myrtle has been on the clock for an entire 28 minutes, what wisdom shall be bestowed upon us this day?

I'm mostly out of range this am, and left my pick with bearman last night, but couldn't resist popping in to see. So I'll keep the suspense down:

Dee Givens, F, Western Kentucky, CUSA

not too flashy, just solid all around.

may the hills top all!

Damn, good pick. I had my eye in that direction.

Anyway, Cal is on the clock, and theres no Kristine Anigwe this year, although Cal is reloading quickly with a recruiting haul.

OK I've woken up. Why are people up at *am on Saturday.

In any event, I will go down to Texas for my First pick:

I really wasn't expecting both Givens and Cox to get picked ahead of me, so, uh, scratching my head here, I'll go with...

Try again. She's already taken!

I'm more or less keeping up with the list (so far) of who has been taken in the second posting on the first page of this thread.

I've heard it said that basketball is all about the hops. With that in mind. I choose:

Ericka Mattingly, G UMKC Kangaroos - WAC (moving to the Summit League next year)

Your turn Myrtle
