Not Top 100 >? Im sure now that she has committed to UCONN she will be in Top 10 with the next ranking release.

THAT many P5 schools can't be mistaken about Piath's potential....must be something to it, rankings be damned.

You be the judge. #32 in white. Not a particularly good New England prep league.

Hmm. Well. She IS .... tall. Laughing If anybody can instill some defense to her game, it'd be Geno.

That video was made by the Polish player's father to show off his girl. It is a highlight video so do you actually think he was going to show his daughter getting beat?
The story is that Piath got a lot of notice this summer playing for the Adidas Select team in Spain.
Her family fled the fighting in Sudan and after several stops finally got to the US, Her older sister played college ball and her brother is a minor league player in the NBA, so there is some DNA.

I remember another player who was videoed in another player's highlight video, It was Kia Nurse who looked rather ordinary and was thought by some to be destined to ride the pine for UConn. I just goes to show that you can't trust those highlight videos.

In any case, she was recruited by Tenn so she must be outstanding. Rolling Eyes

Lol well that was more like a low light. Obviously she is deficient in defense, but she looks like she could be athletic and could have a high ceiling.

Just didn't have much mobility, at least in that one. Yeah, not very impressive. Geno must be desperate for height.

That's the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Class D League. Aliyah Boston, who's a freshman at So Carolina, won 2 NEPSAC Class AA championships. I don't think Piath Gabriel is quite ready for prime time yet, but maybe Geno can move her along.

Gabriel is low risk, high reward player. She's can be use for height when UConn needs her, and she's not ranked high enough to "scare" higher ranked posts from coming to UConn.

Arizona held their McKale Madness Event. A'dia hosted Leilani Kapinius (WI), Anaya Boyd (GA) and Ugonne Onyiah (CA). They are respectively ranked 30,31,3; in HG class of 20. Barnes already has Lauren Wares verbal. This is a program I enjoy watching.

I know, right? After being a cellar-dweller for so long, AZ is On The Rise! Cool

Aussie Agnes Emma-Nnopu to Stanford. Sounds like a defensive star but maybe a work in progress at the offensive end. https://pickandroll.com.au/stanfords-aussie-connection-grows-with-emma-nnopus-commitment/

I guess she saw that Duke was overstocked with "no offense" players. JPM "offense is overrated."

UConn rounds out a tremendous 2020 recruiting class with 6'2 forward Aaliyah Edwards from Canada.

For a look here's her playing this summer for the Canadian National Team vs the watered-down US National Team. Edwards held her own.

The Golden Bears are amassing an impressive recruiting class as Daniels is the third five-star commit over the last week for first-year coach Charmin Smith.

Nice. Congrats. Looks like you've got a great front court coming in. Now for some guards! I'm excited to see what Charmin and company can do there.

We Cal fans are excited too!

Also, Cal already has talented guard Naje Murray coming in as a transfer... so she’ll be eligible to play whrn this new class comes in: https://thedailyaztec.com/94238/sports/naje-murray-enters-transfer-portal-says-farewell-to-sdsu/
