Bohemian picks up #5 with 5 mins to go. This should be interesting. Nice play by Hawkins to attack Jonquel as well. She should have let that one go.

Sun got a huge advantage tonight with no Delle Donne. Mystics almost came back and won. Series tied 1-1 and we'll see a Game 3 & 4 at Mohegan Sun.

The boards just aren't as active as they used to be. Sad

* EDD getting hurt was the biggest factor in this game.

* J.Jones played like an MVP candidate tonight.

* A.Thomas and Williams continue their stellar play.

* The Sun got 16 points from players 5 through 8.

* Toliver shot 30%(20 shots) without taking a FT.

* Atkins came back down to earth.

* At what point does ESPN realize they have a terrible broadcasting team? These game are unlistenable.

* As crazy as this sounds..."Connecticut won the Tina Charles trade"

* 4 days between games is ridiculous.

Suns and Mystics don't have that many fans on this board. If it was the Liberty v. Sparks or Lynx there would be a lot more discussion. The Mystics regulars might be at the game.

That may have something to do with the low numbers reported in that ratings thread.

No Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Minnesota, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle to move the needle with their fans and the their haters. Las Vegas with their polarizing player in Cambage would have most certainly have move the needle as well.

There is a reason behind the low activity. The quality
people have been chase away by negative individuals that believe they know everything. Only Jehovah knows everything and he is not negative nor arrogant.

+1......There needs to be an upgrade.

They can start by replacing R.Ruocco with Adam Amin.

Holly Rowe also needs to be shown the door.

It seems to me like the game gets better every year, but the fan interest seems to keep dropping. Usually they claim an increase in attendance and ratings, but that fails the eye test most of the time.

I will say though that it was impressive to see the excited crowd at the Mystics home games and I expect it will be similar for the Sun home games.

I wish someone would tell them to cut down on the joking and laughing. When they actually call the game, they're not that bad (in my opinion).

Although, I don't like them poking fun at the way Courtney Williams talks. It's rude and disrespectful. Mad

The big question now is...

Can EDD stay healthy enough to play 2 more games? Rolling Eyes

I agree with zune69 about Holly and agree about the comments about Courtney Williams' speech. They ought to be marveling at how she is playing. I am. (Her - along with Emma, A. Thomas and of course, J. Jones.)

One other point - if they are going to talk up the fact that NBA players are at the game they ought to at least try to show them at a time when they or their girl friends aren't looking at their phones instead of the game....

Looking at a low ratings number on Sunday opposite the NFL, a NASCAR race and possible an MLB playoff game at the same time (Washington is hosting a game that day).

Looks like a good crowd though, not many tickets available.

It was quite something to be in the arena tonight (and this past Sunday as well). Great crowd.
