Griner being helped to the back, doubt she's coming back.

Griner Sad If it’s her ACL, Phoenix is in trouble for next season.

Didn’t I say I just wanted no injuries this postseason & we can’t even get through the first goddamn game Evil or Very Mad

You also have to wonder given all the issues Griner’s has with the WNBA and the upcoming CBA whether this is the last we’ll see of her in a Merc Uniform—despite everything that team has done for her.

This is useless speculation on my part, but I have to wonder

In any case, January’s finding some form.

January stepping up, glad to see her playing well. I loved her in Indiana.

I think she sticks around as long as DT sticks around..I’m not sure if she will after that though..

Merc did a good job of controlling the pace in the first half. They can't run with the Sky.

OTOH, both previous games they played in Chicago were one possession games at the half and ended as comfortable Sky wins.

Mercury only down by 3 without Griner. Let's see what happens in the 2nd half.

Vegas may be in trouble if Chicago can play like this at the house!

I love how you can tell when The commentators have gotten bored with the game.

I muted. They're joking around too much, at one point Ryan was even talking about popcorn. Confused

It's the main point of interest left in this "contest" for me

[ETA] Secondary point of interest - just how over does this game need to be before KLS gets her first minutes

I’d say she could come play for the Merc, but she’s not old enough for Sandy to play her..

And the answer: a 25 point lead with 3 minutes left

The Sky had a 7-win improvement, and are advancing in the playoffs, all after drafting KLS, so I have no idea why she isn't winning ROY.

Wade giving KLS only garbage-time minutes in a playoff game? A power move & sign of a truly fearless coach. Warrior.

Meh. Congratulations to Chicago, but I'm rooting against them in every round, until or unless they play the Mystics. #HateHard

Chicago is my second favorite team, so glad if the Merc had to go out, they were going out to the Sky.

Here’s to a healthy season next year..

I'm on the Sky Train too.
Phoenix just snatched the "Not a Playoff Team" crown from them and are wearing it proudly.
Looking forward to seeing what Chicago can do against some real competition.

Total fail of a season from the Mercury.

Glad James is doing so well in Chicago after having him in Minny for a couple of years. Hope Mama Jones is happy to see her daughter still in the playoffs Wink

Really curious how this roster will be revamped next season. I think some of the veterans and Y. Turner shouldn’t be back.
