If the Sun use the same starting line-up again, will they be the first team to have the same starting 5 for the whole season ?

No
The 1998 & 2010 Liberty and 1999 Miracle also used the same starting lineup for every game

The Sun have been one of the luckier teams health-wise, even despite Clarendon. I just feel like if they’re gonna win it all, this is the year.

The Sun rely too much on their starters. Their bench sucks. They have Holmes & Hiedeman as their best options. Any one of their starters gets hurt or in foul trouble and they're screwed.

Which is why this is their best chance (maybe not a great chance in & of itself, but their best nonetheless), seeing as their starters have largely been healthy. And they’ll get to rest up before the semis given their 2 seed, which I do doubt they’ll earn next year unless they’re really able to upgrade their bench (but they don’t really have valuable bench pieces worth trading & it’s hard for Connecticut to attract good free agents). Other teams are due to be much healthier & better next year (like half the Western conference), ergo it’s now or never, at least with this group.

Candice Dupree needs 10 points to tie Katie Smith for 5th on the all time scoring list.

If I’m Chatman, I highly consider resting Dupree the 2nd half if not the whole game. No sense in risking your expensive veteran getting any sort of injury.

Why? The season is over. The Fever are way under the cap, and if Dupree has some kind of freak accident and they have to buy her out next season, it won't be a big deal re: salary.
Ideally, Dupree would be somewhere else next year (with Pokey), and the Fever could actually work on rebuilding.

And today can be the starting point for next season! No sense in playing Dupree if the other younger posts can get one last game of experience under their belt for Chatman to get a better idea of what this roster will need to look like next year.

I don't disagree. But this is the same Pokey who played Dupree 30 minutes a game instead of playing the young players who made up her best on-court combination. And the same Pokey who last year benched her lottery pick in order to bring in the husk of Cappie Pondexter.
She won't do it today and it's a big part of the reason she has to go.

I'm out and about and can't watch the game. Does Kelsey Mitchel actually have 19 points already, or is this another screw-up like the other night?

She's really got 'em. She had 16 in the 1st quarter.

Fever have got to find a way to make this team revolve around Mitchell and McCowan next year (and whoever they draft pick is). With a coach who can help each develop and improve, that is an exciting tandem.

Evidently, Mitchell is showing improvement.

Don’t forget they get Vivian’s back next year as well and Wheeler is definitely been awesome herself.
Indy is going to look scary next year if these young pieces put it all together.
Wheeler
Mitchell
Vivians
McCowen
Find a mobile 4 with a bit of range (Cox/Sabally is eligible?)

An interesting game in that it shows the difference between starter-level players and reserves ...
The Sun reserves got worked by the starters for one of the worst teams in the league. Of course they hadn't played that much, etc., so it's not a perfect gauge, but still ...
As for Mitchell, you have to wonder how she would do playing for a different coach. She's shown flashes of brilliance amid oceans of mediocrity, so it's probably not coaching -- but you never know.

Wheeler’s not exactly young. She’s from the class of 2013.
Not sure what the next coach will do, but guard guru Pokey seemed to have Kelsey Mitchell and Wheeler both playing at PG, and Mitchell was eating up Wheeler’s minutes by year-end.
Maybe Wheeler being dealt to NYL is a possibility?
To me at this point, Wheeler is just another PG you can throw on the “not good enough to take a team to a championship” pile. It’s a growing pile.
