Considering that the bad teams stayed bad all year, thus taking the air out of a lot of matchups, and the loss of reported attendance in Washington, this has been a good year for the WNBA.

I don't how the TV ratings went, but arena attendance appeared to be solid all summer.

This...do you have the capacity %s for dc. I've said all along I didn't mind WAS as it was purpose built and had modern amenities....unlike that wpa project in Westchester

Looked full most nights and had to buy aftermarket most games...still say they built it 1k seats too small and that's a serious issue...Will be curious what they do for the finals...given extra seats needed for league officials and sponsors

Actually would like to see cap% for all non NBA Arenas may be a truer indicator of league health

Taking out their camp day game at Capital One Arena, the Mystics have averaged 3,839 at their new arena. They've had 7 sellouts(4,200). They are filling up the arena to 91.4% capacity. If they sell-out their final two games, they'll finish at 3,884(92.4% capacity).

This is not to be scoffed at actually...May be like his where it is key to profitability but we shall see what happens when fewer teams play in NBA Arenas next year albeit due to renovation

Dream up from last year. Maybe we are onto something here. Losing games seems to boost attendance. Other teams should try it more often.
