Let's go Sky! I know that the Sparks post players have an athletic advantage over the Sky's post players but I love you Sky all the way! Smile

I really like Diamond, but she and her sisters are in our path to glory & honor. Chi-town simply must be destroyed. Very Happy I love how the Spark players refuse to take any opponent for granted, slowing down who needs to be slowed down, containing who needs to be contained.

Our young players have really bought into the overall team gane and are trying to play their collective butts off. What kind of an offensive/defensive monster will Kalani "The Baby Enforcer" Brown morph into when she really whips herself into shape? At a robust 245 pounds right now, she may be the league's biggest player; yet she still hauls herself up & down the hardwood with obvious baby fat on her big frame. When she cuts down the obvious fat and muscles up even more while extending her overall strength, stamina, athleticism, flexibility, explosiveness, and offensive/defensive knowledge & technique, she can really take over the paint.

Fulltime PG Gabby, unless maybe they give Jackson some minutes.

Sparks are looking like they believe their own press clippings. Feel they only need to show up.

YIKES! I'd assume Jackson will get some playing time. Williams at PG for 40 minutes won't end well.

Agreed. Vadeeva should be getting more playing time than Chiney.

So Fisher leaves in Cheney who has been sucking and takes out Vadeeva who has been playing great. Everyone even the announcers thought he would take out Cheney. Is this guy stupid or what.

I've been saying this all season. She definitely deserves more minutes than Chiney

This was a big game. Glad the Sparks were able to pull it out. They just can not afford to lose home games to teams that they are better than. Sky made a good road trip effort beating Vagas and now almost knocking off the Sparks.

We're back on the road again - against Dallas on Wednesday and then against the Sky once more, in Chi-town on Friday.

We are currently 1.5 games out of first place and 0.5 games out of second ... with 11 games left in the regular season. Time to ramp up that championship momentum!

With her still coming back from her injury perhaps her minutes are being monitored at the moment.

I also had thought of that, but she played 15 minutes her second game back. One would think the minutes would increase not decrease.

I suspect Fisher is just trying to keep some players happy. I know that it's a good idea to play the entire roster when possible, but this was a critical game and the score was close so he should have had his most effective players on the court. Vadeeva was his most effective player. She also played good defense with a number of times the player she was on fumbled and lost the ball. She also really is a really good on the boards even if the ball doesn't always end up in her hands. On the key O-board putback she wasn't so much in the right place at the right time. She got by the player who was supposed to block her out on that freethrow.

Not too many Sparks had good games. Gray, other than her scoring did not have a solid game. Definitely not one of her best. Vadeeva in her limited time had the most solid effort. Cheney other than a couple hustle steals had a non productive game.Yet she got more minutes. Masha had the least minutes out of all the reserves. I suspect that Cheney gets her minutes because they want to keep her sister happy. She has had productive games but when a player is not playing well they should sit.

Sky on the road without Sloot & Lavender shouldn't have finished within 15 of the Sparks so as far as losses go that seems like a pretty respectable one. (on paper. I didn't get to see any of the game)

The Sky were up 4 I think in the 4th quarter around the 1:30 mark but there was a crucial turnover by Gabby Williams on some miscommunication with DeShields which led to Gray killing the Sky in the end.
