Wouldn’t be too upset to see the Storm lose this one. A) We already gave Atlanta its only road win thus far, why not do the same here with Dallas. B) Not too late to tank! It would likely only gonna get them the #5 pick, but Hebard (closest franchise to her college + Alaskan hometown) or Mompremier would be useful from the bench.

Was there a reason Loyd didn't play much aside from coach's decision?

Jordin Canada played well, though whether that's an indication of how bad Dallas is (and they're bad) or her improvement is hard to tell.

She's basically sucked since returning from the ankle injury, now 8-34 across five games. Whitcomb's stepped up, notwithstanding the ugly shooting game last night, and this is still a team fighting for playoff positioning - so Hughes is playing the people who are likely to help him win.

Just saw the game. Howard was the topscorer but Canada was the mvp in this game.
I really like her improvement from last year. She had a couple chaotic games and needs to improve her jumpshot but overall she is having a good 2nd season. She is small but she is a pesky defender and gives it her all every game
