So I'm going to a friend's house a little while ago. As I approached my turn, I noticed a police SUV coming toward me from about a block away. The headlights weren't on even though it was dark enough (after 9:00, past sundown) that they should have been, IMO. I'm guessing that it's the same officer that I saw I think Friday or Saturday night without lights on then either.
I make a right turn on to the street that is the closest way for me to get where I'm going. Police SUV was more than a block away, so it wasn't even close. SUV turns on to the street behind me. I don't think too much of it because that is the way to the station. After I passed the station driveway and the cop did too, I began to wonder. When I got to my next street and the cop was still behind me, I'm really beginning to wonder. I make another turn and so does the cop. I make a third turn, so does the cop. I pull into a driveway, the cop immediately turns left. Then turns left again and goes back to the station. I could see him pull in from where I was.
Because I travel that neighborhood a LOT I'm always careful to not go above the speed limit. My headlights work, my turn signals work. There was really no reason for the cop to follow me.
Not a comfortable feeling at all!!!!
