Maine
Fans will get their first look at the Black Bears at the Cross Insurance Center on Oct. 27 when Maine hosts Stonehill in exhibition action. The Black Bears then take to the road where they will officially open the 2019 regular season slate at Delaware on Nov. 8. Maine remains on the road on Nov. 11 when it takes on Brown in Providence.
The back-to-back defending America East Champion Black Bears open the regular season home schedule on Sunday, Nov. 17 when they host former America East league foe Boston University. A rematch of last season's NCAA First Round match-up takes place when UMaine hits the road for a meeting at NC State on Nov. 19.
The Black Bears meet Navy on Nov. 25 at the Portland Expo in what will mark Maine's first contest at the Expo since a 2012 contest against Rhode Island. Portland has been friendly to the Black Bears of late as UMaine went 4-0 in America East postseason contests held at the Cross Insurance Arena in 2016 and 2017.
Maine will begin competition with a competitive field at the Gulf Coast Showcase when it takes on Arizona State, which advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in last year's NCAA Tournament, on Nov. 29 in Estero, Florida. Two more Gulf Coast Showcase dates are set for Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 with those opponents to be determined by the first round Showcase results. In round two, Maine will either take on Drake or Purdue.
Action returns to the Cross Insurance Center for a two-game homestand when the Black Bears host Husson University on Dec. 4 and 2019 Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) participant Harvard on Dec. 7.
Maine takes on its third Ivy League opponent of the year when it travels to Dartmouth on Dec. 10.
The University of Wisconsin Green Bay visits the Cross Insurance Center on Dec. 13 to begin another two game homestand against a pair of teams who participated in the 2019 WNIT. The home series concludes with a date against longtime rival Northeastern on Dec. 21.
Maine will wrap-up its non-conference slate on Dec. 30 with a trip to former league rival Drexel which posted 24 wins a year ago before falling in the Colonial Athletic Association title game.

mzonefan posted Duke's 2019-20 non-conference schedule. GoDuke.com issued a release with a few blurbs/sentences about each of Duke's non-conference opponents this year.
2019-20 NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
(excerpts/analysis below from GoDuke.com link)
vs. High Points | Nov. 5 – 7 pm
Duke takes on High Point in the season and home-opener, taking on the Panthers for just the second time in the history of the two teams. The first meeting came two years prior, as the Blue Devils controlled the game for a 77-50 win in Cameron Indoor Stadium in the 2017-18 season matchup.
at Texas A&M | Nov. 10 – TBA
Three Blue Devils will return to their home state when the Blue Devils take on the Aggies in early November. Uchenna Nwoke (Grand Prairie), Kyra Lambert (Cibolo) and Jade Williams (The Colony) will all get to see family and friends in the early season matchup. Duke will look for its first win against the Texas squad in the Lone Star State, having lost their previous three games in Reed Arena. Texas A&M holds a 5-1 advantage in the series as it returns Chennedy Carter, who averaged 23.3 points per game for head coach Gary Blair’s side.
at UNLV | Nov. 14 – TBA
Matching up against the Runnin’ Rebels for the second time in as many years, Duke heads out west in an attempt to assert the same dominance shown in the game at Cameron just a year ago. The Blue Devils took care of business in the only matchup between the two to date, grabbing a 66-38 win. UNLV was 9-8 when defending their home court last season while Duke was 4-8 in road contests.
vs. Northwestern | Nov.17 – TBA
The first of two non-conference matchups between Big Ten foes, Duke hosts Northwestern in just the second time that the two sides have faced each other. The Blue Devils look to grab revenge after the Wildcats defended their home court to a comfortable win in Evanston just last year. A 1987 graduate of Northwestern, Blue Devil head coach Joanne P. McCallie looks to get one back on her alma mater. Her son, Jack, will be a sophomore at Northwestern in the fall of 2019.
vs. Idaho State | Nov. 21 – 7 pm
Meeting for the first time, Duke welcomes Idaho State to Cameron Indoor Stadium for the second of five straight home games. The Bengals posted a 15-5 conference record in the Big Sky last season, one game off regular-season champions Idaho. Idaho State posted a 9-6 record away from Reed Gym.
vs. Troy | Nov. 24 – 2 pm
In another first meeting between teams, Troy makes the trip from Alabama to take on the Blue Devils. Playing in front of the Cameron Crazies was one of the Blue Devils’ strong suits last year, going 9-4 in the friendly confines of their home court. Troy had a 22-9 record in the 2018-19 campaign, posting a 13-5 record in Sun Belt play.
vs. Davidson | Nov. 27 – 7pm
Meeting for the first time since 2004, Duke will welcome Davidson to Durham for the fourth time in history. Duke holds a 3-1 record over Davidson, including wins in the last three matchups. The home team has won each game in the history of the series. The Wildcats have been building a winning formula over the last few years, going from a 6-23 campaign in 2016-17 to their first winning record since the 2012-13 season, with a 17-15 mark.
vs. Penn. | Nov. 29 – 1 pm
Undefeated in all three meetings, Duke finishes its five-game homestand against Penn. While the first meeting came in 1984, the two teams have met twice in the last five years. Duke holds a 2-0 record in North Carolina, winning both games by double-digits. Penn comes off a season in which it shared the Ivy League regular-season title with Princeton, losing the last game of the season to the Tigers to share the spoils with a 12-2 conference record.
at Nebraska | Dec. 4 – TBA
In this season’s Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Duke travels to Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers for the third time in series history. The Blue Devils got the better of their foe in the first meeting, grabbing an eight-point win in the Regional Finals of the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Nebraska avenged its loss in the following season, upsetting the Blue Devils, 60-54, in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Lincoln. Duke holds a 10-2 record in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, besting Wisconsin on the road in last season’s edition.
at South Carolina | Dec. 19 – TBA
Had the game not been cancelled in last season’s campaign due to a snowstorm, the Gamecocks and Blue Devils would have battled for the sixth straight time and the eighth in series history. The two will instead meet for the seventh time in their recent yearly matchups. South Carolina has a 4-2 advantage in the series history, with both teams splitting home wins in the last two matchups. The Gamecocks held a strong advantage in their home gym, winning 13 of the 17 games played in the Colonial Life Arena a season ago.
at Florida-Gulf Coast | Dec. 29 – TBA
After hosting Florida Gulf Coast in last season’s inaugural matchup between the two programs, Duke takes its turn in the home-and-home series to be visitors. The Blue Devils travel to sunny Florida to look to build on their opening 57-41 win against the Eagles at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke was one of only five blips on the season for FGCU, who cruised to a 16-0 record and swept both the ASUN regular season and tournament titles. The Eagles will look to add momentum to an ultimately disappointing first round exit against fourth-seeded Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.

JMU has yet to release its schedule, but I just got my season ticket order placed today. How crazy is that?

The McNeese State Cowgirls have released their 2019-20 schedule. Nothing to write home about.

This will be head coach Kacie Cryer's 3rd year as head coach. Major struggles last year with only one senior and a majority-freshman squad. The Cowgirls failed to qualify for the Southland Conference tournament.

Cal Schedule
11/8 - @Harvard
11/10 - @ Connecticut
11/17 - UC Riverside
11/21 - @San Diego St
11/24 - Arkansas
11/29 - North Carolina Central
11/30 - Penn St or Long Beach St
12/7 - Boston U
12/14 - Santa Clara
12/21 - Kentucky
12/29 - Grand Canyon
Cal should find some wins in their non-conference schedule, but games against Arkansas, Kentucky and (likely) Penn St should give an indication of just how far the Bears have fallen

There are 4 Div 1 schools in the state and UW is only playing UW-Milwaukee. I'm surprised they are not playing Marquette or UW-Green Bay. This is the 2nd season in a row UW and Marquette haven't played - I like that rivalry and I'm not happy about this.

JMU *finally* releases its non-conference schedule:
Nov. 5 v.. Longwood
Nov. 9 @ Villanova
Nov. 13 v. Maryland
Nov. 17 v. St. John's
Nov. 21 @ Georgetown
Nov. 24 v. Liberty
UVA Tournament @ Charlottesville
Nov. 29. v. UVA
Dec. 1 v. UCF
Dec. 17. v. Delaware State
Dec. 20 @ George Washington
Dec. 29 v. Robert Morris
Not too many cupcakes in there for a mid-major, and I get to jeer at a couple of my more disliked coaches in person this year. Yay! Pus, barring any injury to key players, the Dukes should be loaded this season.

Wed. 13 Marshall
Sun. 17 at Ohio St.
