Proofreading all this, it occurs to me that it might have been a better idea to simply allow add/drops in the post-season.

I would vote for this. It's not like there are many superstars out there waiting to be picked up. Why not just continue as is. BTW I use this list for injuries: http://www.donbest.com/wnba/injuries/

Two weeks to go in the regular season--Week 11 starts tonight with the Atlanta-Indiana game. Get those lineups in if you need to!

I don't need to: I'm starting the same 4 Indiana/Atlanta players I started last week, but here's the lineup:

NYSports56 Week 11:

G - Erica Wheeler, IND
G - Tiffany Hayes, ATL
F - Napheesa Collier MIN
F - Jessica Breland, ATL
C - Natalie Achonwa, IND

Adamj95 will pretty much know what his team needs to beat me after tonight. I need a shootout!

With just two games left, I've been checking out the playoff possibilities.

This much is known, so long as I haven't figured things out wrong:

Mojo/myrtle and J-Spoon have clinched the playoffs.
Erimus is eliminated from the playoffs.
Mojo/myrtle clinch first place with 1 win and 1 J-Spoon loss.
J-Spoon clinches first place with 2 wins and 1 Mojo/myrtle loss.
Hoopmom clinches a playoff spot with 1 win and 1 Admiral Needa loss.
Admiral Needa clinches a playoff spot with 1 more win than Hoopmom.
Adamj95 can only make the playoffs with 2 wins and 2 losses from both Hoopmom and Admiral Needa.

The rest is some of the craziest standings stuff I've ever seen in a fantasy league with two weeks left.

We have four 6-4 teams. And in the next two weeks, none of those teams will face each other! That means they can all finish 8-4, or all finish 6-6. If Mojo/myrtle lose both of their remaining games, it is possible that there could be a 6 way tie for first place! On the flip side, if hoopmom and Admiral Needa both win out, it's possible that there could be a 6 way tie for 3rd place!

The tiebreaker combinations for this are massive. Without evaluating them all, it appears that all four 6-4 teams could end up anywhere from first place to out of the playoffs! Most of the other teams have a wide variety of outcomes as well: while in the playoffs, neither Mojo/myrtle nor J-Spoon have even clinched a bye week, and it is still possible that Admiral Needa and hoopmom could still earn one.

Enjoy, everyone!

I'm not sure what to do. Meesseman was a stud before she left for Euros but has been mediocre since returning. Most of our team is on the road this week. Not a good sign. For now, I'll leave it as is...

Last night I was watching her, and I was wondering about how ineffective she looked as well. I was thinking maybe the Mystics aren't as good as I thought they were, because I had been impressed with her game 2 years ago, and I thought she'd play on a very high level.

After you posted, I went back to look at things, and from a fantasy standpoint, she's only struggled in 3 out of her last 4 games. Here's her breakdown (most recent games first):

14.0 points (6 Pts, 5 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 TO)
16.7 points (2 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk)
27.2 points (2 Pts, 6 Reb, 6 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 Blk)
17.7 points (13 Pts, 1 Reb, 3 Ast, 1 TO)
35.4 points (15 Pts, 7 Reb, 2 Ast, 2 Stl, 1 Blk)
27.3 points (12 Pts, 4 Reb, 3 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk)
26.6 points (14 Pts, 3 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl)
26.2 points (14 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 1 TO)

The first game of the year was the only one she played before she left for the Euros, and she scored 26.2 points. When she returned, she exceeded this total in 3 straight games.. However, her last 4 have not been so good, with only one good game and 3 mediocre ones.

So it's not as bad as you thought--the slump is really only 3 out of the last 4 games, and not ever since she came back from the Euros. Still, I can understand why you're hesitant to start her.

Amanda was absolutely crushing it right before she left for the Euros, with a five game stretch where she registered her 4 best fantasy performances of the year. Since she's come back, she hasn't broken 20 points. All in all, in 7 of Amanda's 9 games before the Euros, she scored more points than any game since she's been back.

Again, most recent games first:

17.8 points (5 Pts, 9 Reb, 1 Blk, 1 TO)
13.6 points (7 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 3 TO)
17.6 points (4 Pts, 8 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk, 2 TO)
18.0 points (5 Pts, 5 Reb, 1 Stl, 2 Blk, 2 TO)
----------- EUROS --------------------------------
37.0 points (13 Pts, 10 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Stl, 2 Blk)
56.9 points (37 Pts, 7 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 Blk, 2 TO)
19.8 points (6 Pts, 4 Reb, 2 Stl, 1 Blk)
47.6 points (15 Pts, 13 Reb, 2 Ast, 3 Stl, 2 Blk, 1 TO)
42.3 points (9 Pts, 9 Reb, 1 Ast, 2 Stl, 5 Blk)
15.4 points (6 Pts, 7 Reb, 1 Blk, 2 TO)
34.4 points (6 Pts, 12 Reb, 6 Blk, 4 TO)
20.0 points (11 Pts, 5 Reb, 1 Stl)
4.6 points (0 Pts, 3 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Blk, 5 TO)

Its so frustrating it’s like she’s comeback and forgotten how to play on this team. The chemistry is not the same as the first half of the season. #FreeZauhi

Admiral kicked my ass tonight and this week Parker, McBride and Jones killed it as did McCowan yesterday and and Nurse had strong showings while Cambage and Plum had their worst weeks in a month. I think Deshields and Clark will have to get about 70 a piece for me to get back on top.

DNP Alert for both Diana Taurasi (Erimus) and Chiney Ogwumike (adamj95).

Both players have games later this week. Chiney supposedly had a tooth removed, so I guess she'll be ready? Taurasi is listed as questionable, like she has since she's come back and played that one game.

Glory Johnson (WNBA 09), despite registering no statistics, did play for 3 minutes, so her zero is final.

Nobody else commented on the post-season waiver issues besides myrtle. Of all the ideas I floated, myrtle thought allowing add/drop as normal in the post season was the best.

I agree, so if no one objects, add/drop will continue as normal in the post season, with the exception that eliminated teams cannot use it.

If you hadn't won, your final game against toad455 would have determined the winner of the regular season.

Congratulations, mojo/myrtle for an awesome season! Going into the final week of a 12 game season, you are two games up on everyone. Your team gets a well-deserved spot in the RFBL Championship Game!

The rest of the playoff situation is fairly complex. I'll give the full breakdown after the last games are finalized (some games are still going because of DNPs earlier in the week by Chiney Ogwumike and Diana Taurasi).

Based on the stuff above, this is how I think the playoffs break down (none of this is official, but I think it's right):

MOJO/MYRTLE(9-2)
Clinched first place and spot in the championship game.

TOAD455(7-4)
Clinched first round bye

J-SPOON(7-4)
Clinched playoff berth.
Clinches first round bye with win, or a Calbearman76/tbinta loss, or WNBA09 win where WNBA09 fails to score 75.0 points more than J-Spoon

NYSPORTS56(7-4)
Clinched playoff berth.
Clinches first round bye with win or WNBA09 loss

CALBEARMAN76/TBINTA(6-5)
Clinches playoff berth with win, or Admiral Needa loss, or Hoopmom loss.
Clinches first round with win, and J-Spoon loss, and WNBA09 loss

WNBA09(6-5)
Clinches playoff berth with win, or Admiral Needa loss, or Hoopmom loss, or Calbearman/tibinta loss.
Clinches first round bye with win and one of the following: NYSports56 loss, or scoring 75.1 points more than J-Spoon

HOOPMOM(5-6)
Clinches playoff berth with win or Admiral Needa loss.

ADMIRAL NEEDA(5-6)
Clinches playoff berth with win

ADAMJ95(3-8 )
Eliminated from playoffs.

ERIMUS(0-11)
Eliminated from playoffs.

clarification please. Does tomorrow's half game count? If so we will replace Meesseman in our lineup. If it doesn't count, we will stick with what got us here!

Hopefully we don't face j-spoon for the championship! He totally has our number.

No, the half-game between Washington and Las Vegas doesn't count as first game this week. It is a continuation of a game that began in a prior week.
