Given that a few top 2021 HS players have given their respective verbal commitments and this has been mentioned in the 2020 thread, I figured it was time to start a "2021 Commitments" thread.

Prospects Nation Rankings - Class of 2021

6. Saylor Poffenbarger (UConn)
7. Brooke Demetre (Stanford)
48. AJ Ediger (Iowa)
55. Jaelyn Glenn (Kansas State)

Note: Prospects Nation lists its top sixty (60) players for 2021.

So, who are the top 10 unsigned prospects in the class of 2021?

Averaging the rankings of HoopGurlz and Prospects Nation, I get these 10 players with the best average rankings. I've also listed their positions and heights as listed on HoopGurlz/Prospects Nation, plus the state or country their high school is in.

1 - Azzi Fudd, G/G, 5-11/5-11 (DC)
2.5 - Saniya Rivers, G/G, 6-0/5-10 (NC)
3 - Olivia Miles, PG/PG, 5-10/5-11 (NJ)
4 - Amari DeBerry, F/P, 6-5/6-5 (NY)
7.5 - Sania Feagin, F/P, 6-3/6-3 (GA)
8 - Aaliyah Moore, F/F, 6-1/6-2 (OK)
9.5 - Payton Verhulst, G/G, 6-1/6-1 (KS)
10.5 - Rayah Marshall, G/F, 6-3/6-3 (CA)
12 - Latasha Lattimore, F/F, 6-4/6-4 (CAN)
13 - Kayla McPherson, PG/PG, 5-7/5-6 (GA)

Thanks, Glenn -- there are some difference-makers on that list, and somewhat of a questionmark about Fudd, who's coming off a serious knee injury and may not have as much room to improve as some of the others.

Note that McPherson can't shoot a lick, which is an issue. I really liked Miles and Verhulst at USA Basketball, and Feagin is very good as well.

Chantae Embry hasn't been committed to OK State for over a year.

Whatever happened to Mo'ne Davis, the kid who was the Little League sensation, played in a pro basketball all-star game as a youngster, and was all gaga about UConn? She's at least 18 now....anyone see her on any recruiting lists?

She's at Hampton this fall. She's on a softball scholarship.

Virginia Cavaliers has snagged Deja Bristol.

I tried to find information on Deja Bristol on the internet. It was virtually empty. Anyone know anything about Deja?

. She was a teammate of one of the current Hoos frosh.class Kylie kornegay-Lucas at powerhouse New Hope Academy. I can find lots of information about new Hope but not a lot about this Bristol kid.

UConn has received a commitment from 2021 front court player Amari DeBerry. DeBerry is 6'5" and ranked 5th on ESPN and is the No 1 front court player in the class by ESPN.
