Boyd is playing and Durr is listed as questionable.

No Durr should equal more Johannes. And with the short bench for LA, it might enable Johannes to shine.

According to a ticket rep here at WCC, the game is sold-out (2,300).

Big boost after Boyd got out there. What a beautiful basket by Johannes.

Charles and Zahui B both with two quick fouls. Liberty lead after 1st quarter 19-12. Strong D by New York. Johannes looks good out there.

Johannes is our leading scorer with 10. She needs more minutes and should probably start in place of Durr as long as she's out.

Halftime. Johannes hasn't missed yet. 12 minutes, 5-5, 13 points.

Is it too late to enter Johannes into the ROY race?

Zahui B still isn't herself since returning. She's just off and isn't any kind of threat anymore. Raincock has been out playing her.

Here’s what I loved about that play at the end of the half. Wright called Johannes to take it...which makes sense as she’s the best one on one player on the floor. Johannes hesitated. Wright was like yeah you. Come out. So she did. The second Wright was open MJ23 gave the ball right back. Wright in turn was like nah, you shoot. Johannes is not only highly talented but her game mixes flash with humility and a team-first nature.
I love it.

When Durr is healthy, I want to see Katie start Nurse, Durr, and Johannes. No one is a point guard? Let's try it and let them figure it out. Our point guards aren't such great point guards.
