Time for the Storm to get back on track. Hopefully Howard got some rest and everybody is locked in.

Does anyone know how long Loyd will be out?

Only 8 turnovers for Dallas? It feels like 20 already.

Hopefully Dallas can get a top 2 pick and draft Ionescu or Cox. Trading glory should also be a priority.

If it is, they're doing a decent job of boosting her trade value tonight

Based on the amount of people posting in the game thread, I'm sure no one is watching this performance Laughing Razz

Well I'm watching, so I'm willing to give up Sancho Lyttle for her. Not just to help our front court but also because BG probably hasn't seen her kids in 2 years.

Its nice of you to give up someone who got hurt today just so BG can bring her kids to work. Razz

I am outraged knowing that Ogunbowale probably clinched ROY with her dominating performance this game.

We're not giving Glory away for free. A young wing (sg/sf) would be nice (Copper,Sykes, Vivians, etc)

She was shut down when it mattered, but stat-padded very nicely once the result was beyond doubt. Still, history will just show 23 points at a very un-Arike-in-2019-like 54%, and good for Dallas for coming out after half time and playing with some intensity.

Canada with 14 pts, 12 assists and 0 turnovers Shocked Very Happy Very Happy and dont forget about the 5 steals. I love her improvement from last year.

If Jordin Canada shoots like she did last night, she will be a serviceable WNBA point guard, and maybe even a very good one.

But I've watched her on and off since high school, and that 19.2% from three is no accident -- every once in a while she can make outside shots, but most of the time she can't, and unless she develops consistency, she's way too easy to guard at this level.

And despite the steals, I'm not sold on her defensively.

All that said, however, if Canada can become a relatively consistent threat from the perimeter, she can help a team win. And let's not forget that she wasn't exactly being guarded by Alana Beard last night.

A player with Canada's speed can even be successful if she's consistent from 15-20 feet. Which to this point she isn't...a .324 FG %. But a higher success rate from that distance would be enough to make defenders guard her with greater frequency.

I'll give her this though. She shares some physical traits with Brittany Boyd but I think it's fair to say that Canada has a much higher BB IQ. Canada doesn't dominate the ball with her dribble as often as Boyd does, IMO. Then again, part of that is that Canada is smart enough to understand that it's occasionally wise to take open mid-range shots if the D ignores you. It beats a TO or missed layup that results in a fastbreak the other way. Canada has attempted 37 mid-range shots. Boyd has attempted 8 all year...and she's shooting about 78% from the foul line combined over the last 3 seasons. She's improved her shot enough to shoot more than once from beyond the foul line every two games. The fact that Canada is a better player in her second year than Boyd is in her fifth, even though both players have similar physical skills, speaks to the possibility that Canada can continue to elevate her game.

Is Johnson a free agent in 2020?
