We should probably just get Shades to copy & paste that into every Dream home game thread-starting post

I accept a small part of the blame. I haven't been able to attend any games since the stroke.

To be down only 5 feels like a miracle at half. But I'll take it.

After the 2011 finals, Lynx fans don't get to complain about foul disparities against Atlanta

Breland hasn't hit a shot since the first quarter. Without her canning that eighteen-footer, Atlanta doesn't have the floor spacing they need for their offense to be effective. Williams was giving Gojira the blues when Breland was getting those to go in.

ATL trying to fight off their #LemonBooty tendencies.

This might be the worst I've seen the Lynx play this season, and that includes the game they gave up the 20 point lead....

The teams combine for 44 points in the second half ... and though good defense can be appreciated, good offense is more fun for fans.

Which may explain Atlanta's attendance problems. The Dream have never had a good offense.

I wouldn't really characterize this game as being a "defensive struggle". It was two teams playing very poorly, with the Lynx playing worse. There were a lot of missed open looks, unforced errors, and on the Lynx part rebounds surrendered from simply lack of awareness/blocking out/hustle rather than great play by Atlanta. Defensive rotations were late arriving for both teams most of the game, and it should have led to even more points in the paint for both teams, but missed layups/bunnies instead were the story.

Ugly game all around.
