Big time plays by Sims on both ends including committing the smart foul with a foul to give. Chicago played really well in the second half. Deserved a better fate. They played outstanding D in second half. These are two really well-coached teams.

Great pick up for us!

Don’t get too attached. She’s an emergency exception player.

Dang, thought the Sky had that at the end. They were up 3 with the ball and I think it was under two minutes left. I don't think they scored again. Gabby Williams had a wide-open 15 footer on the baseline that didn't go down. In hindsight, she was probably better off driving all the way to the basket.

Diamond and Sloot are going to get ripped for their poor shooting...But Dolson,Lavender and Parker scored 9 poinst in 59 total minutes.

Also:

DD/Sloot: 15 rebounds in 58 minutes

Dol/Lav/Parker: 12 rebounds in 59 minutes

I believe DD/Sloot are playing less than 100%...When I say less than 100% I'm talking in thee 80-85% range. Diamond isn't gtting up and down the floor as she normally does. She's sprained her anklee 3-4 times this season and looked like she tweaked something late in the 4th quarter. Sloot's back was clearly bothering her and she also sprain her ankle in the game versus seattle.

Think maybe the Sparks wish they had Sims back. She is burning up with the 3 point shots. She has always been a good player and she looks happy in Minny. I've watched her since she was at Baylor.

The Sky have the talent, just when they're off, they're way off. They can still sneak into the playoffs. One of New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Indiana and Dallas will make the playoffs.

Gee thanks. It sounds like you’re saying the Sky needed to be “way off” to barely be edged out by the Lynx. Good defense has a way making a team seem off.

Anyway, the Lynx take all-important season series from Chicago. Mr. Green

If the Sky miss the playoffs again this season then a change needs to be made with the structure of the team. The Quigley, Sloot, Dolson trio have been together for three years now. If they can't figure out how to win together by now they never will.
The Sky need to reconfigure the team. Sloot and Quigley have specific skills that can be useful in the proper application. Dolson? They need to say goodbye to her. The only thing she is good at is taking up space on the court. She can't even do that well because she falls down too much. Evil or Very Mad
