Christmas-Kelly had surgery and is out for the rest of the season.

Ouch! Lynx down to 9 players now. Do they keep Shao Ting as their exemption player when Zandalasini arrives?

All depends how long Dantas & Augustus are out for.

Boring signing but I suppose the number of players signing up for temp work is limited.

You left out the part where another signing is expected tomorrow.

Has Italy been eliminated yet?

Adding Taylor and Bell are interesting. When Zandalasini and Fagbenle arrive, are Ting and Coates still getting cut and Lynx play with nine until Augustus is healthy?

They are the emergency exemptions, and I am not exactly sure how those work.

Can they keep them on the roster if they sign others, or do they have to release them first as soon as their numbers come over the threshold?

Can they keep Ting & Coates when Zandalasini and Fagbenle arrive? That would put them at 11 if Augustus is still injured. Interesting to see what their roster looks like next week.

They are injury replacements.

When Augustus comes back, Bell will leave.
When Dantas comes back, Taylor will leave.

At least that’s how I think it’ll go.

And no Zandalasini due to injury this season, correct? So Lynx will eventually look like:

PG: Robinson/Brown
SG: Sims/Augustus
SF: Collier/Talbot
PF: Dantas/Fagbenle
C: Fowles/Coates
IR: Christmas-Kelly/Shepard

So I wonder who's back? Dantas? Augustus? Is Zandalasini coming over after all? Curious who's available for tonight's game.

Also, does this make Coates the biggest bust as a #2 pick?

Contracts get guaranteed tomorrow, so it's possible it's one of those "cut her then re-sign her to a 10-day contract" until players get healthy situations.

Might be no one is ready to come back yet.

That's my thought as well. Doesn't seem like Zandalasini is coming over and Bell & Taylor are only there until Dantas & Augustus are ready.

They just announced that they expect to sign Zandalasini in 7 to 10 days if she is cleared by her doctor.

So one or two 7 day contracts would cover that gap.

Coates could be a nice pickup if a team needs a true center. Maybe Dallas? Would she rate over Gustafson? IMS played well today, so I won’t bring her up.

How about the Aces? Are they still feeling Park? Are they done coddling Swords? Give her a staff job.

Coates has, so far, scored the fewest points among No. 2 picks, though I suspect her career isn't over.

Tausha Millis is the biggest bust competition at the No 2 slot.

On the other hand, Chantelle Anderson had actual hype and expectations coming into the league. I might call her the biggest bust give the distance between expectation and actual production.

Zandalasini is still "not close" and didn't pass her physical.

She has been officially activated, and thus Bell has been released.
