With my criteria it’s Griner and not even really close, unless PHX falls below .500 or whoever ranks #1 in ppg starts shooting above 43.4%.

So....pilight I think I remember you mentioning years ago that no player ever won MVP by missing more than 2 games. Delle Donne is at 2 missed games and currently listed as day to day. She has to play in Saturday's game against the Aces or she's donezo when it comes to MVP? Because according to the Rebkellians, the past is the BIBLE and cannot be undone, never a first time for anything..unless my theory about blonde haired, blue eyed girls getting special treatment is true (I do think EDD is currently the MVP, btw)! Rolling Eyes

Is Sims 40.8 fg% any worse than Howard (42.4%) or Jones (45.0%)....Howard/ Jones are 7 & 11 inches taller than Sims.

This has been the weirdest season in terms of the front runner changing so frequently..but in light of everything the past few weeks..I guess now it's Griner?

*Griner could win the MVP...but I think her shot opportunities are going to go down with the return of Taurasi.

*EDD could win the MVP even if she misses as many as 8 games...IF EDD plays 26 games and the Mystics go 22-4, and 2-6 in the games that she misses, I'd still consider voting EDD as the MVP.

W/EDD: 9-2
W/O EDD: 0-4 (Loss to LA included)
Suspended gm: up 15 at the half

*Cambage has a legit shot at MVP if her minutes continue to increase. Despite the slow start and inconsistency of the backcourt (Plum,Young) Vegas is on pace to win 24 gmses. However, Wilson will also get some MVP votes.

*Jones: Is not dominant or consistent enough...Sometime you forget she's on the court.

*Wilson: Will split votes with Cambage

*Sims: Off court drama will keep voters away.

*Howard: See Sims.

If EDD misses as many as 8 games, I doubt she has a chance. That's nearly 1/4 of the season.
