According to the league pass telecast (which just came alive for a couple of minutes)
"Game suspended due to earthquake
2nd half will be rescheduled by the league at a later date"

I don't know how that will work. What if the rosters change before they find a makeup date? Will Meesseman be eligible to play in the second half?

There are a lot of what-ifs about the potential solutions, but I hope that the first half stays in the books as is (including personal foul counts). Personally I would allow Meesseman to play. Some players might become available, but some others might get injured too.

It apparently happened just about at half time. The commentator, Rushia Brown, said the floor noticeably shifted and might be warped. Stadium personnel were walking all the aisles to see if there was any damage. Then the League Pass broadcast just went into an endless half time delay screen.

It was quite a shake. I felt it in the northern part of Californias central valley some 300 miles away. We usually do not feel it from that far away.

I'm closer to the epicenter than Las Vegas is. They're being "earthquake wimps." I guess it's "possible" there was some extremely slight change in the floor. But basically a nothing burger that far away.

Reportedly the Jumbotron was swaying back and forth. Feel free to go stand under it. Smile

The Aces and Mystics play again on July 13, but in D.C. Maybe they finish the game the day before?

On league pass they show some video of the floor where it doesn't look flat. The panel edges were uneven.

Or the day after. Both teams have six days off afterwards.

and also the place where a 'straight' line had a shift in the middle. Looked like it could have been 1/2" off.

Did you see video of the men's summer league game in Vegas at the same time. The players and audience all started running for the exits. I thought it funny that the ladies kept right on playing - especially with the jumbotron swaying overhead.
